West End Bay Holiday Apartments

My husband and I just returned from a week-long stay at West End Bay, and every aspect of our stay there was amazing! Carl and Antoinette were so lovely to deal with. They were very timely in their responses to any of our inquiries. We also booked this holiday fairly last minute at a very busy time on the island, so rental cars were extremely scarce, but somehow, Carl was able to secure a rental for us (which is essential if you're staying on the island and want to be able to fully enjoy and explore all that this wonderful island has to offer). WEBHA is located about 1.5 km west of the Four Seasons, at the intersection between the main road heading to Shoal Bay West and the beginning of the dirt road that leads you to the Arch. WEBHA consists of two, three story buildings. The building closest to the road has unobstructed views of the west end pond and St. Martin. It has 3, two bedroom units. We were fortunate to be able to stay in at two bedroom in that building on the third floor, so our views were simply amazing when considering that you are not directly on the beach. The second building is set back behind the first building and I believe that it consists of 6, one bedroom units (2 on each floor). All of the units have very nice balconies to sit out on and enjoy coffee in the morning or cocktails at sunset. If you are a couple and can splurge on a two bedroom unit, then do it for the views/larger balcony and larger unit. Our unit was beautiful, updated, and very well equipped with everything we needed. There is laundry in the unit, beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella, and everything you need in the kitchen to make meals, if you choose to do so. The unit was also spotless. It was cleaned twice during out 7 night stay, which was definitely enough for the two of us, but given my dealings with Carl and Antoinette during our stay, I am confident that if you prefer that your unit be cleaned more often because you're a larger group etc., they will make that happen. Also, the cleaning occurred while we were out and about, and never interfered with our stay. The unit we stayed in had two bedrooms, each with a king bed, and they looked identical, except that the primary bedroom had the same view as our balcony (out over St. Martin) and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom had a door into the main bathroom for the unit, which was pretty much identical to the primary ensuite bathroom (both with spacious showers and glass shower doors). The bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable and the linens were great all around. I didn't try out the spare bed, but it's likely the same comfortable mattress as in the primary bedroom. The internet/wifi in the unit was excellent, as was the selection of television channels. The tv is a smart tv, so we were able to stream videos with ease. Although this was not a working vacation for either of us this time, it usually is, so a good, solid internet connection is essential to us. For the value, location and hospitality, you can't go wrong with WEBHA, if you are content staying in accommodations that are not on the beach. We walked to the beach (Shoal Bay West) each morning, which was only about a 10 minute walk around the pond. We also explored some of the dirt roads by foot nearby the apartments and came across cliff-side views that were simply breathtaking (not just the Arch).
