If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this isn't you place. But if you are wanting a step back in time with great people that work there and friendly! We were there for a wedding and all of the wedding guests stayed there and they made sure they made it work for everyone! This is your place, clean rooms and good service. It's a casual place and it's what you want when you are in the area. Places to eat close by and if you need something they will tell you what is local. If you go to Mayville, make sure you visit the local wineries and ride on the Chautauqua Belle and take your car on the ferry over to Bemus Point.  Enjoy the beautiful area and relax!

it was GREAT. I loved it. it was definitely an experience for sure. there were some great people there and I loved it. the women were beautiful and the cars were shiny. I liked golfing at the mini golf it was so fun. it was amazing keep up the great work. :3

Janel and Darel were nothing but gracious and accommodating. The hotel is old but clean and comfortable. Our private balcony had a nice view of the lake.  We enjoyed playing mini golf and the access to unlimited coffee from the keurig station off the lobby was appreciated!
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice quiet place to stay near the lake!

We had our wedding reception here a few years ago and the atmosphere, staff and food were all amazing.  We return on our anniversary and the food never disappoints! The nice thing about Webb's is, you can visit any season and it's beautifully decorated and the views of the lake are gorgeous.

Our stay was nothing but the best. We had a great experience. The owners were nothing but accommodating to our requests to get early access to the room so that my now wife could get ready for our wedding. I live in the area and had never stayed at Webb's before, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

On our way to Ellicottville,  we ventured on a side track for an earlier dinner and found this wonderful establishment.  Classy from the beginning, as we entered into a captains diner table. Clean and well maintained.  Choices for food and drink are excellent. Well prepared and presented  by a very attentive staff always checking our needs .


My husband and I stayed here for two nights with our 12 week old son. The check-in was quick and easy, and our room was large, clean and even had a jacuzzi! The indoor pool area was also extremely clean and well-maintained and included a hot tub. There was even a gym with enough equipment to get a decent workout in! Delicious hot coffee was available each morning along with a continental breakfast consisting of fresh pastries, cereal and bread. In addition, the location was key! The motel is located steps away from phenomenal restaurants, a candy store and the marina. Could not have hoped for a better stay in Mayville!! Thank you to Daryl, Janel and Mary Ann for their hospitality!!

We stayed here while we went to the VFW Family Picnic. They're going through renovations now, which seem to going well. Staff is friendly and responsive (had a problem with Direct TV). We'll be back next month for another visit and we'll let you know how things have progressed.

My wife and I stayed at Webb's on a return trip from the Upper Peninsula in Michigan to our home in Maine.   We have spent some time in the Chautauqua area over the years and picked Webb's for a one-night stay.    We had played at its miniature golf course before and had shopped in the candy shop on previous trips.   

My wife was spending the day at nearby Lily Dale Assembly, so I drove to Mayville to check in.   There was nobody at the front desk, and I had to dial for help on a nearby phone.   The place was eerily quiet -- almost like a ghost town (no tumbleweed!).   I did enjoy spending my wait for the staff to arrive by looking at the photographs of celebrities who had stayed at the resort in previous years.

I had a first floor room that was clean and comfortable.  We slept well, and despite the   fact that Webb's is on a busy highway, were not bothered by any traffic noise.   The property was within walkable distance to the local park, ice cream stand, and several other eateries located on Chautauqua Lake.  We resumed our miniature golf competition with an evening round.   And the front lobby has several comfortable chairs, which made for a great place to sit and read a book.

What was sad, however, is that I had a sense that Webb's had seen better days.   The vending machines were essentially empty, and there were very few staff members on the property.   It was extremely quiet -- no complaints, mind you -- but I kept getting the impression that the place had seen better times.

I would stay at Webb's again, but it is a place that has probably had its most prosperous days behind it.  

First time dining here, almost the last. I have never been greeted by a hostess as unfriendly as this hostess. We almost left. Someone should teach her how to be welcoming.  Luckily our server made up for the hostesses rude welcoming . My husband and I enjoyed the food for lunch, especially the clam chowder. Would eat here again

Stayed Jan 15-16 2020. As always, everyone is friendly and willing to accommodate needs. Have stayed here many times. Rooms are outdated, but very clean! Just has old charm! Only down fall was the Hot tub was not working. Would have been nice after 150+ miles on the sleds Saturday! Wish they would add more to the complimentary breakfast. It is what it is.....just comfortable!
Again always courteous, will be back again Love to support family owned businesses! AND the Captains Table is the best restaurant around...don't look anywhere else!

I visited the area since my brother works at the Chautauqua institution. I went to Webb’s for an overnight stay.  Comfy room. Old fashioned. Clean. Not sure why they didn’t have curtains you draw over the window. Just blinds that didn’t reach out far enough. I would think they would put curtains as well.  Anyway, I did enjoy the jacuzzi/pool area. Very nice and relaxing. The place does need some TLC. As it is an older place.  Beds were good. Small bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was horrible. That’s not what I call a  Continental breakfast. More like carb overload breakfast! Everything tasted stale and the juice tasted horrible. Go to the maple diner.  Don’t eat their breakfast. You need protein in your breakfast. Not that gross yogurt, stale pastries, no name cream cheese. Where’s the eggs? Cereal? Bacon? Sausage? Fruit? All and all it was a good stay.  Somethings need improvement.  But it served its purpose for me.
