Waterglen Guest Lodge

If you happen to find yourself in Rustenburg, this is absolutely the best place you need to visit or spend your money at because believe me you will get your monies worth. Apart from it's beautifully captivating scenery, it's lavish rooms, delicious food and much much more. It is the service that was implacable. I would like to thank Lean and Suzanne for what you did for me and my friend. Quick story. My best friend was a guest at The Protea Hotel on Marriott, just a couple of km away from this amazing place Waterglen Guest Lodge. She felt sick while still a guest at Protea, she was alone and thank God I called the hotel to check up on her as she was supposed to have checked out that day. The stuff at Protea assured me she was fine after I asked them to check up on her. Upon my arrival to fetch her, she was half dead, eyes rolling at the back of her eyes and in no state to function at all. Worst Protea Hotel Marriott couldn't be bothered instead lied and they said they were fully booked and kicked her out, said they'll move her to a near by lodge just in case she gets worse and doesn't make it, it's not their problem. They didn't want to extent her stay even when i pleaded with them upon my arrival, instead they decided to make her Waterglen's Guest House problem just in case my friend didn't make it. Mind you I'm not from Rusterburg, had drove over 2 hours to get there, it was getting late, didn't know my friends medical aid details to take her to a doctor, didn't know any clinics, so my best option was to get her re- hydrated and rested. So we eventually came to Waterglen guest House where I was welcomed by Suzanne. I told her my friend was not well, she's been vomiting and that's when she upgraded our room, at no extra cost to a stunning two bedroom self-service apartment. It was beautifully furnished, had everything you'll need and even better, at the main bedroom were i placed my friend the toilet was so close for whenever she needed to vomit again, aircon, shower, tv, desk, extra blankets, ..... In the morning it got worse, my friend collapsed and i ran to reception for help and that's when i met Lean. She immediately called the ambulance, which arrived and she also assisted me pack our stuff, comforted and calmed me down because i was distressed. These two ladies went over and above their duty, showed kindness and compassion, something Protea Hotel Marriott failed to offer and instead put my friend in even more risk by lying. You're safer, well looked after, receive outstanding service, would definitely have a better,actually best stay and enjoy yourself if you decide to stay at the Weterglen Guest House if you happen to be at Rustenburg. There's no better place. If you see Protea Hotel Marriott first, drive down an extra 3-5km to Waterglen Guest House, I promise you'll thank me later.
