We stayed here before christmas. Micheal is so accommodating or I'll say professional on his field, he tick all the right category. The place is far from four season hotel , but it makes up by feeding peace in your soul, this place is like a therapy, a good kind. Grab a book sit by the stream while sipping your tea. The price, you,ll forget that you brought your kids with you. Great value for your money. We can call this place our 2nd home. Surely we will pick this lovely place again.

We stayed for 3 nights in a kitchen cabin. The holiday park was situated next to a lovely stream and was clean and quiet. The free kayaks and dinghy was a nice touch. We enjoyed our time in the water. Michael was a great host and passionate about protecting the waterways. It is a place we will come back to if we find ourselves in Rotorua again.

We stayed here for 2 nights, good facilities. Clean showers and toilets. Great location. Highly recommended. Very reasonable price. You also get complimentary use of the kayaks which is a nice touch..

We chose to stay at the Waiteti Trout Stream Holiday Park because it was far enough out of Rotorua to avoid the sulpher smell, but close enough to be an easy drive to where we wanted to go.  The park is clean and tidy, as are the facilities.  

Thanks to Michael for your advice on places to visit and places to avoid.  Thanks for your help when our campervan had mechanical issues.

Friendly and accommodating Manager, clean and comfortable rooms, grounds immaculate, dogs allowed a bonus, lots of extras like kayaking, pool table, table tennis, library to enjoy, great location to lake.

What a beautiful peaceful place. We parked our Motorhome by the stream under a beautiful tree and stayed for 4 days. Michael was so lovely and the place was very quiet. You can use the kayaks or go for a morning swim in the stream as its quite deep. Will be back again as this is our new dream vacation spot

Stayed at this holiday park again for the fourth consecutive year. I love this place.  It is attractive, neat, clean and you are made to feel very welcome.  The owners and staff go to great lengths to make your stay a pleasant experience.  Highly recommend you give it a try.

We stayed on a powered site at that very nice and well maintained campground for two days and being just on the edge of Rotorua, it allowed us to do a great number of activities that are renowned for this volcanic area. The campground is right beside the Trout Stream, so you don't feel like being on the edge of a builtup area. The toilets and common areas were very clean and well maintained. The staff was also very friendly.

We parked our camper here overnight and it was a lovely place. Friendly staff. We had a spot right beside the stream which was great (though the mosquitos were out at night). The amenities were nice and clean (bathroom and shower). Didn't use the kitchen or common room. We were given some complimentary WiFi passes which was great to back up our holiday photos. In the morning we were visited by a group of friendly ducks looking for a snack, very cute

Very nice campground at the edge of Rotorua

Nice place

The one thing that gave this stay two stars is the stunning location. Unfortunately, after more than a decade of staying here several times every year, the new management and run down facilities has made this our last. The rude new manager didn’t even have our booking which was made last January and confirmed in October and again December, put extra people on our double site and forced us to give up one of the power plugs for them, yelled at us when we objected, booked other people on our third site after we had paid and booked it so we had to move off it early, yelled at me again when I objected…long story short, we left early and went home.
