Beautiful house but more a b&b, the pool was not working which was informed about after paying for the stay - a bit speculative. Nice breakfast, but whey to pricey based on facilities. Not going back.

Overrated

Beautiful Bed & Breakfast! Room was clean and lovely, check-in was easy, and the breakfast was delicious!

Beautiful Waterfront Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful villa with stunning sea view. Got lucky with sunny weather and enjoyed having delicious breakfast sitting on a terrace, taking in the sun and environment. The hostess/owner was very nice and welcoming.  The villa is perfect for a relaxing, peaceful stay.

Beautiful bed and breakfast about 30 minutes outside of Bergen.  Calm and relaxing with stunning views.

Unique villa, large room with large windows, no TV, designed for guests who wish to have a quiet inspirational time away from the maddening crowdfor . very pleasant and helpful owner, stylish with good taste, right next to the Fjord with a wonderful view from the room

Very unique and stylish

Had such potential being a wonderful villa, but their lack of hospitality knowledge was disappointing for that price point. If paying top tier should receive top tier service and a manacured facility. The place is beautiful but a bit run down in places and isn’t receiving the touch ups it needs.

Beautiful villa. Lovely bed and breakfast. The owner was very welcoming and obliging. Impressive views from the lake-side balcony. Would very much recommend Villa Charlotte. A car would be advisable, particularly if wanting to go on day-trips and our for meals.

Pros: This place is like you are in a dream. Overlooking the ocean and mountains, the room is classy and clean. The lady of the house prepares fresh breakfast and the spread is very impressive. It is a 10 min drive to the airport. The massive botanical garden (in reality, a forest) was within a 30 min walk. There is a pool in the villa, but it was too cold and rainy to go in. 
We initially only had an overnight stay at the place - so we decided to extend by a day to enjoy the place more. It was a complete cut off from civilization. The pros of this place, are primarily intangible!

Cons: Too expensive for the facilities you get - it really is a bed&breakfast after all. There are no restaurants around the place either. The house itself has no lunch or dinner options. I would have appreciated if we could at least get fruits at night, but no! A restaurant called icookkitchen was relatively close by - so we made the most of it.

Regal, in the middle of nature, overpriced

Villa Charlotte is a very nice place with a fantastic view, the rooms are nice but please remember this is not a Hotel but a B&B so the service is very limited.

You need a car or other transportation facilities to stay there, it is in the midle of nowhere and the taxi to Bergen is very expensive and you need to wait very long time for it to come.
The villa needs some renovations but still nice, but I think it is generally much to expensive 50% to much, I will not come again.
