Val Monte

I was very pleasantly surprised at the size and modern clean state of the rooms the photo's do not do the accommodation justice. We stayed in the apartment for 5 people but there was only 4 of us. It would be easily be big enough for 5/6. Each room was en-suit. which was great at the end of the day on the mountain. The landlady is very polite and attentive and collected the recycling/rubbish mid way through the week. The ability to order from the local bakery each evening for fresh croissants and rolls etc delivered each morning to the door was a lovely added bonus. The 'menu' for the bakery is in the apartment and just requires a quick phone call and leave the order on the answer machine. The beds are clean and comfortable and the linen fresh and clean. The apartment is easy for find as it is above the Intersport shop, despite being on the main route through to Ischgl the road noise is minimal and even sleeping with the windows open the nights were undisturbed. The apartment is close enough to drive /bus to ischgl to use the facilities but not at ischgl prices. The apartment comes with the use of the boot drier and ski/board room and the kitchen is well equipped for a self catering holiday, with all modern clean appliances
