We had the opertunity of staying at this farm. Freindly staff that go out their way to please. We had such a peaceful stay, enjoyed the walks on the farm and fishing in the dams. Beautiful area and very peaceful. A very nice place to recharge your body after a long years work. Recommend it to anyone wanting peace and quiet. 

 The railing on the porch on both sides for safety ( we have a 18 month old baby) must be extended.
Railing at the bottom of the porch to be closer to the tiles, there is big gabs and small children can fell through.

Excellent time out of the city with the family

What a wonderful setting-beautiful nature, peace for the soul.Unit inside - well done. Very comfortable sleep with soft rain falling. Helpful and friendly staff.The following recommendations :1.A phone call from the owners to check if all was well , would have been appreciated. I know this a working farm, but some interest from management will show that guests are also valued.2,We wanted to braai, but was boycotted by the rain .The braai facilities are totally impractical. Even the unit on the stoep could not be used as our feet would have been in the water.No water drainage was taking place.3.Tiles on the patio were broken- A hazard when walking barefoot.4.A notice to the unit regarding the step if you enter and that the tiles on the patio are slippery when it is wet , will make guests aware or the situation.5.The slattted roof on the patio should be watertight and enlarged, so that that it covers the entrance to the patio also. We like the door to be open so that we can appreciate nature, even when it is raining.Due to this , rain was blowing into the unit .6.The inter-leading door between Springbok and Oribi could not be locked from Springbok`s side. Could be a problem.Will recommend this place if you need ret and peace.

peaceful retreat

We found the place very quiet and relaxing. The stay was interresting due to the amount of rain and with our small car it was a bit of a challenge to get to the farm. Once we arrived it all went better and we enjoyed the setting of the challet we were booked in. Even through the cold spell we had a great time at Tweedekans Game Farm. Would have loved to walk around a bit but due to the constant rain couldn’t. I’m sure if we could it would have made it just so much more of an enjoyable weekend.

Wedding Anniversary

The accommodation is very basic. The wood that is supplied (at R50 a bag) is unusable as it doesn't fit into the small fireplace. When the wind blows in the wrong direction it pushes the smoke from the fireplace back into the chalet. The trout dams are in a poor state and three of the four dams are unfishable due to massive amounts of weeds in the water.
We left a day early because of the unsatisfactory conditions. We made the owner aware of our poor experience per email and requested a refund for the one night but he never responded.
We visit Dullstroom three to four times a year, each time trying out a new venue and i can assure you we won't ever visit this sub-par venue.
