Stayed here during a motorcycle trip. The room was very clean, bed comfortable, close to restaurants, and had everything I needed. Andrew was a great host! If I'm in the area again, I will definitely stay here.
And Andrew, I hope we helped you out when we left in the morning.

We stayed one night in one of the “suites”. This is a quirky little motel, but clean and cute and super friendly. We had everything we needed. If you want a spa kind of resort experience you won’t get it here bit we don’t want that. The price is super and it’s really historic-original knotty pine decor that is pretty kitchy, and I love the garden gnomes. No frills but safe and comfortable for us. Thank you Trailrider!

This place is AWESOME! If you want tons of nostalgia? Cozy comfy CLEAN rooms? This is the place! Walking distance to all the town has to offer! Love it!! The flowers they put out are beautiful! It makes it feel more like home. The town has lots of restaurants to choose from.

Day 7 of my 2 week independent motel trip - Two in a row for the one story motels that are really kept up nicely.  Knotty pine walls, clean carpeting looks to be relatively new.  Everything is really nice. Bed is comfortable.  Internet is good.  Shower looks to be a little small, but bathroom is clean and up to date.

Located in the heart of Granby which is only minutes to Winter Park ski area, Grand Lake and Rocky mountain National Park. This motel would be a perfect group base camp for winter or summer activities.

My wife and I have stayed at Trail Riders many times and absolutely love this place. This trip was a little different. We took our elderly neighbor and his son up with us. We called the owners Erik and Mikey and explained our trip. The boys at the motel were very excited to help make this a great trip. They told us the best places to fish and were very helpful with the whole planning of the trip. As far as the rooms they are always meticulously maintained and clean. We love love this place!

I have wanted to stay at this motel for years!! With the big snow storm of 2021  we came up from Denver a night early and found a room here- very clean - quiet and I loved it ! The grandkids enjoyed it and it was full of charm ! Cant go wrong ! 

We stayed in the Trail Rider Motel for two nights over Labor Day weekend.  We were in room 11 and our room was very clean.  It was very dated...but clean.  It had EVERYTHING we needed.  It had night stands on each side of the bed, microwave, mini frig, a great desk area to sit at, and a charming little eating nook.  The bathroom was on the small side and so was the room, but it was great for our two nights stay.  Most of the time we were out and about doing things and not hanging out in the room.  The hotel was booked for both of our nights and we did not have any issues with other guests or noise.  They do not have a/c and we did run a fan in our window...so that toned down any outside noise as well.  Parking was very convenient...right at your door.  The owners were very responsive to any of our needs.  It was within walking distance of several restaurants and shoppes.

Wife and I took Amtrak from Sacramento to Granby for a get-a-way. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. Our two bed rooms was very spacious and cozy. Room was spotless and had a microwave, refrigeratior, good size table, huge t.v. screen. Owners Errik and Mike were always extremely friendly and always helpful with suggestions of things to do. We stayed for one week and we would of loved to stay longer. Granby is a very friendly community. We will definately be back.

The manager on duty was extremely friendly and helpful.  The rooms are adequate and very clean.  Location is within walking distance of places to eat.  Beds were great!  This is a small town but people are very friendly.  We have been through there before and did not have reservations and there was no place to stay.  Keep that in mind if you plan on visiting Rocky Mountain National Park.

Awesome place with amazing owners! The room was super clean and comfy with TV, fridge and great WIFI. But what really stands out is how the owners make you feel like you’re at home. They are caring and dedicated to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Honnestly, they're the nicest people on earth!!

Greatest place to stay in Granby!!

A MUST visit! If your ever in the Granby area Near the Rocky Mountain National Park. Trail riders Motel is the place to stay. The owners  Erik and Mikee are amazing!!! Excellent customer service, friendly down to earth, and they make you feel at home. 

Approximately 30 minutes from Winterpark. Rooms are nice size, super clean, most places within walking distance, local shopping, restaurants, local coffee shops, sweet shoppes, Deli’s, ski resorts, amazing lakes nearby and the amazing views are priceless. Yes ,they have WIFI 😬 20-25 minutes into town near Grand Lake where there is good variety of restaurants, homemade ice cream shoppes and candy. Shop local you can’t beat it! Also, nearby is a hiking trail to Adams Falls. Breathe taking views🥰Highly recommend trail riders motel by far the BEST experience ever! can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you 🙌

If You’re Lucky Enough To Be In Grand County.... You’re Lucky Enough 🍀Home for a couple of days...

This is an older motel that has been meticulously maintained. There are two rooms with queen beds, a fridge and microwave, and a table and chairs - everything you need! It has a great location right on the main drag of Granby, not far from Rocky Mountain National Park. The owners are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved it!

I don't stay in motels often, and wasn't sure what to expect, but this place exceeded my expectations. I made my reservation over the phone the night before and the guy (probably the owner) was nice and efficient. Check in was easy as could be and he pointed me towards a few restaurants and a brewery. 

The room was surprisingly clean and hotel-like. Again, just exceeded what I expected to walk in to. If I'm in the area again (which is likely) I'll be booking here first.

Highly recommend.
