We are here now just a couple of days before the end of our 2 weeks stay, 2 adults and a 6 year old. We had a great holiday, here are our honest thoughts on the hotel. Any concerns or issues we raised where dealt with quickly with great care and attention making us feel like we was special throughout. The guest services truly care about your holiday and only want perfection! We came away from this holiday feeling like we was treated like royalty and we have amazing memories to take with us. People reserving sun loungers - there are multiple signs up telling people belongings will be removed but we didn't see this happening throughout our stay (that's not to say it wasnt but we didn't see it) the main pool area is extreamly hard to get beds up next to the water so we ended up spending most of our time at other pools which where fantastic! Or the beach which felt like a day out when going by the boat or train which is in itself a brilliant experience with such beautiful views on route. Buffet food - very, very good, so much choice, all very fresh and good quality. The eggs at breakfast where always cold however, they was consistently cooking so timing is essential for the eggs :) there is something for everyone. We liked to sit outside and eat, and the waiters and waitresses do a fantastic job! A la carte food - beyond excellent. We tried italian, steak club and tapanyaki. All the Food, service and atmosphere were all out of this world. Worth the extra money and broke up the evenings. Nice touch was at the tapanyaki when it got later and the mosquitos started to come out for their dinner the staff came round with mosquito repellent , just a small gesture that shows the level of thought for the guests experience! Rooms - beautiful is an understatement! We had the luxury of having a superior room on week one and upgraded week two to the ottoman suite and this was unreal! The cleaners are friendly and do a very thorough job and the mini bar stockists keep you stocked even with extra favorites when you ask. Pool areas - the main pool can get very busy. Pools are cleaned regularly and rubbish at the poolside is constantly being collected. The guys serving drinks on roller skates were brilliant and the snack bars staff are super! Remembering your drinks from only seeing you once before with that many guests again makes you feel like you are special and all the staff made extra effort with our 6 year old daughter she felt so grown up with their genuine interactions. Water slides - just wow, you will again struggle to get a free bed in this area but the lifeguards are actually busy lifeguarding they do an amazing job keeping eyes and ears on all the people and made us feel safe to enjoy the fun and excitement. Beach - you get the train or boat to the beach area. It’s beautiful but the sand is pebbly so bring water shoes again lifeguards on duty and plenty to do, I think we spent an absolute fortune on pony and horse riding for my daughter but again worth every penny as these memories are priceless. Experienced the gyrocopter myself and what an unforgettable experience this was just beautiful. Evening entertainment- out of this world such skilled shows and great variety. Kids area giving out popcorn and candy floss nightly obviously was a huge hit and all the staff work hard to get everyone happy and with drinks. This hotel is huge and how they keep it so clean is beyond me, we finish our last couple of days not wanting to go home and wishing we could stay for longer.
