The Wilderness Way Adventure Resort

Probably my favourite place that we've ever stayed at! Hidden away, call for directions don't trust Google Map. The horseback riding was the highlight of the stay. Though my daughter was too young for the adventure, they went out of their way to let her participate and she was thrilled. My husband loved the quad ride. The cabins were beautiful and cozy. Staff were phenomenal. I will never forget Andrew and Sonja's kindness. They went above and beyond. If you get a chance to stay here don't pass it up. Unforgettable experience in every respect!

We were visiting locally and wanted to go for a nice dinner. Our friend suggested Wilderness Way. We discovered an amazing chef, friendly staff and a superb 4 course meal. We started talking with Chef Xaun and in the end we decided to come again for breakfast the next morning. We had a wonderful breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs and whole made hash browns including fresh out of the oven apricot bread. One month later we were passing through the area again and stopped for an amazing cheeseburger with soup to start and dessert.  Staff stopped to chat and we were invited to tour the grounds.  We definitely recommend you come to dine and/or stay but make sure you have lots of time. These meals deserve to be savored.  We will be back and look forward to trying some of their many activities and perhaps staying overnight in a teepee. 

Celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary here topping it off by zip lining on site on the Labour Day weekend.  The site is not yet totally complete but the cabins are first rate and the views are spectacular of the Fraser Canyon.  Staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome.  Particularly helpful on the zip line experience and we always felt very safe.  The food is certainly not gourmet and the selection somewhat limited but no complaints.  Would certainly recommend.

This is only the 2nd season for the resort but despite a few missing elements our family of 5 (Parents with kids 14,12,10) had a great 2 nights. Of the 18 days we had in Canada the kids voted the zip-lining at the Wilderness Way the most memorable thing about the holiday. We all stayed in the 'Deer Crossing' Tipi - 2 comfortable double beds and a futon - they are surprisingly spacious inside. The shower/toilet blocks are a very short walk away and very clean/functional. Our all inclusive package provided breakfast, lunch and dinner - there was no 'menu' but a reasonable selection of food was on offer and was well prepared by the very friendly chef and served by the very helpful staff. The biggest downside was the lack of a bar which came as quite a shock, but fortunately we had our own supply of beer and wine from the 'local' liquor store 15km away - a license is in process so this is due to change. Wifi was available in the main lodge so the kids could get their fix during meals (upsides and downsides!). Aside from the amazing on-site zip lining experience, we also enjoyed a fantastic horse riding trek through some nice Canadian woodland a short drive away. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely return. This was certainly one of the more expensive places we stayed on our Canadian tour, but taking into account all the activities, the inclusive food, and looking at prices of more established similar resorts, this place offered fair value. I can only imagine this place going from strength to strength over the next couple of seasons.

Shaping up nicely - well worth a visit

We were group of 14 persons , we found an offer of one or two nights with one activity in Social Shoppers, but because we would like to do 2 activities  we called the manager to ask if we can buy 6 offers for one night and take another 6 for another one night, and he agreed. So we took all the 12 offers (5 cabins +1 tipi). The next day the manager  asked to book the 2 activities and my husband choose 12 zip lines and 12 archeries.
When we reached there we did 11 zip lines, and then when we asked if it is possible to do 5 archeries and 8 ATV(one of the activity there) they agreed. But later the manager came and refused to change the activity from archery not because no place in the other activity, but because he changed his mind after he agreed about our booking. 
The manager had no problem to change from zip line to archery, and explained  his refusal by the way we took the offer- which was supposed to be two nights with one activity and we buy the second activity as he said later- we told him our intention from the beginning and he agreed.
I explained that i am not happy but nothing changed.

The fan was noisy in cabin #6. Also, no body passed to collect the garbage in two cabins. And not all the cabins were cleaned although they were originally clean. 
 
The food was very delicious. And the staff was very very friendly. 

Despite what happened with us I think the place worth visiting, it was a lovely place.
