Ullswater View House 

This place is just amazing. Waking up to the view, seen by all of the rooms which are beautifully decorated, you have everything and more. Kitchen well catered for and really big, ideal for the larger parties attending. Lots of space to get lost in and find your own corner for peace when needed. Everything is spotless and had all amenities required. Dog friendly and our dogs loved going to the local boat landing for splashing in the water. Lots of dog friendly restaurants nearby if you don’t want to cook and the food available from them never disappointed. Very reasonably priced too. Quiet evenings by the patio with a nice cuppa and early mornings were very much the best part of our trip. If you don’t like the hustle and bustle of Lake Windermere or Bowness-On-Windermere, then Ullswater View is definitely the place to stay. It’s easy access to the A66 for Keswick and Buttermere or even more popular main stream shops such as Sainsbury’s etc, and only 20 mins from Ambleside through the infamous Kirkstone pass, which, is one of the most stunning drives. Julie the host so knowledgeable on where to go, what to do and on hand if we needed anything at all. We are just so desperate to come back.
