The Sands - Sea Front Apartments

We have stayed many times in these apartments over the years! We usually stay in a 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment. However to our surprise the 3 bed 2 bath was actually cheaper on this visit, so we booked that for us both! As expected the apartment was spotless. We stayed once more in The Kepwick apartments which are sea view but on the side of the building! We think these are better than those that face the sea full on. The reason for that is when it is fully dark if you are full on with the sea you will not see anything! The Kepwick ( I think the name is correct!) apartments are on the side of the building so you get a smaller view of the sea but you can glance over to Peasholm park and see the castle ruin and passing people etc. The side will always be our preference!The sands apartments position means it is easy to get to many places of interest. The land train in Bridlington had not started for the season on our visit. The land train runs from Bridlington to Sewerby. If you want a downhill walk go to Bridlington to catch the train at various stops along the prom. stay on until the final stop in Sewerby. You will see the beautiful headland. Then it is a gentle walk back to Bridlington with the views to admire we love the place! You can of course catch the land train at Sewerby. You can park on the grass near the model village. Visit the Spa cafe for coffee and cakes in Bridlington. in Filey there is a walk along the prom which is flat so ideal for those with limited mobility. The apartments will not disappoint.
