The Olive Tree Hotel 

We recently stayed at the Olive Tree Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very easy to find on the edge of Çatalköy and is located in a safe, peaceful area. While there are no beaches, attractions, or public transport within walking distance, taxis are readily available and hiring a car is recommended. The hotel itself is a little dated in terms of décor, but it is clean, comfortable, and offers excellent value for money. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with a lovely swimming pool that was a real highlight of our stay. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room wonderfully cool, there was plenty of hot water, and everything functioned as it should. The bed was very comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the balcony overlooking the pool with its lovely view. The half-board package was exceptional value. Breakfast was light but adequate, while the evening meals were excellent and exceeded our expectations. Wi-Fi was reliable throughout the hotel. Cleanliness was consistently impressive. The room service and housekeeping teams maintained very high standards, and all common areas were kept clean and tidy. The room was also very quiet, with no noticeable noise from outside, ensuring a relaxing night’s sleep. What truly made our stay special was the service. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and attentive, especially the waiters. They regularly checked to see if we needed anything and always did so with a smile. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, the Olive Tree Hotel provides excellent value, comfortable accommodation, great food, a lovely pool, and outstanding service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to families and anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Northern Cyprus.
