We stayed here for 2 nights in the Ivy Room. It is an old tack room redone to accomodate guests. It was private and away from the main house. It is on the small side for both the bedroom and bathroom but it suited us very nicely. It's very well kept and clean and the bed was comfortable as I had no back/hip issues in the mornings or nighttime reading. The breakfast was awesome, the other guests company were quite delightful and our hostess was excellent! The food was very, very good. It does start at 0830 which suited us as we could sleep in and get ready for the day. The property is well maintained and it is one of the three old homes in Coos Bay recognized by the Historical society. Please do not be fooled by its actual location. It is away from the main center of town and at the other end. I wouldn't walk around at night but very safe in the AM if you want to get an early morning run or walk in before breakfast. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast if you need a place to unwind and relax.
