This is a charming B&B in a lovely village, well located for the places to see in the area. Christina is the perfect host, her home is lovely and breakfasts even better. We ate in the pub across the road which is very convenient, very friendly and the food good. Our room overlooked the crossroads so we could see the comings and goings. The room was comfortable and the bed very cosy with lots of aromatic cosmetics provided. 
We would strongly recommend a stay here and will return next time we are in the area.

Stayed here for two nights. Christina was an amazing host. Nothing was two much trouble.  Would recommend this B&B. Very comfortable cosy rooms with a great view of the street. Would highly recommend just for the breakfast which was amazing.  The White Lion Hotel was across where you could get great pub meals.

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were in the area for a wedding. I don’t normally stay in B&Bs, we usually go for larger hotels but this place has totally swayed me! It was a beautiful B&B.. very very professional, rooms furnished to a very high standard and all the amenities you require in the room (tea/coffee/biscuits/hairdryer/dressing gown). The attention to detail here is great - even the hand wash in the bathroom is well thought out (lavender and mint - definitely ordering this for our own home). The owners are so lovely, they give you your space but are around to help with any request from needing irons, to booking taxis to breakfast requests. By far the highlight of our stay was the breakfast. The quality was unbelievable. Everything is so fresh and homemade - they use local produce and it’s so homely. They even have beautiful fresh homemade muffins each morning which still come out hot!! Would highly recommend for anyone visiting this area - you won’t be disappointed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our last minute 2 night stay at this B&B. In fact it was the best out of our whole holiday. The owners are lovely warm friendly people, who you feel really want to make your stay perfect. My husband is allergic to feathers, and following our email explaining this they went out that day & bought a none feather duvet for us. 
The room is lovely, full of character, charm & clean with comfy beds. There is a kettle with cookies & a selection of teas. We were also given a sealed jug with proper milk in it. I really appreciated this as I love tea & it doesn't taste the same without milk. Our ensuite bathroom was really pretty. There wasn't a shower but it did have a roll top bath with hand held shower attachment which was strong enough to wash shampoo out of your hair. ( there is a note asking you not to wet the floor as it is not a wet room & this was quite tricky when washing your hair). 
Breakfast was fantastic. I love a table set properly with a crisp white tablecloth. There was cereal, yogurts, raspberries & blueberries, yummy home made raspberry & blueberry muffins & home made jams. Oh yes & the treat of proper butter!
I liked the touch of a printed menu which explained where the food was from & a today's special which I had both days. The first day was scrambled egg on toast with smoked salmon & the second day was a mushroom omelette. ( as I'm trying to eat healthily I was delighted to see these options & because of this the omelette was adapted for me without cheese). Hubby had sausage & bacon which he said were delicious. All of these were cooked to perfection. 
We took a fan as it was so warm but didn't need to use it as the room was cool. 
There is plenty of parking very close by & free wifi which was useful as we didn't have a phone signal. 
The proximity for exploring the Jurassic coast is great. We did Seatown, Charmouth & Lyme Regis in one day! ( we ate at The Pilot Boat in Lyme Regis which was excellent & good value). 
Just be aware they don't take credit card payments at the B&B. We took cash but were told we could have done a BACS payment if we wanted. Don't let this put you off going here. I would highly recommend this B&B & if we venture back that way we would definitely stay there again. It was a delight.

I cannot speak highly enough of this B&B, Very professionally run and everything we could have desired was provided. Charles and Christina were very welcoming and breakfast was to die for. We hope to visit again soon.
