The Landing Napier

We stayed at this delightful B&B in Napier in September of 2014. It is perched way up on a hill in a suburban neighborhood overlooking Napier and the ocean. We did have a dickens of a time finding it as first as IMaps on my phone had us going round and round in circles. Eventually we called and Jill, the owner helped us navigate our way there. We had the top floor room and recommend it highly. Jill and Allen were wonderful hosts. Allen even drove us into town the first night for dinner because we didn't yet have the lay of the land. We caught an inexpensive cab back to The Landing. Jill and Allen's breakfast was just perfect with a table looking out at the same great view as from our room. The next day, a rainy Saturday, we walked around town looking at all the great Art Deco architecture and then drove around the surrounding area visiting wineries. That night we stayed in noshing on goodies we collected that day and drinking some of the local wine treasures we collected that day. Just a wonderful experience never to be forgotten. By the way, Trip Advisor folks, you should not just limit the "when did you travel section to only the current year".
