The Karen Cottage Guest House

The rooms we had were very big and is was very nice there were mosquitonets over the beds. Every  morning we enjoyed a very nice breakfast in the garden. We really liked the very big and beautifull garden and spent many hours there because it was there so quiet and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The food was very but you have to order att least one hour in advance. Excellent place for us and really quiet and relaxing!

This was my 2nd time staying at Karen Cottage.   I love the atmosphere and surroundings.  The food was very good and the hospitality I received from Esther, Susan, Porine, Cate was top of the line.   Special thanks to Wycliff for overnight security.   I cant wait to return again.

Great stay! It felt very safe and I never had any problems. The food was good and the staff was very friendly!  My room had a double bed with mosquito net, cable tv, and wifi. I also had a clean bathroom with a hot shower. I was traveling with a large group and we never had any issues!

Cozy and Quiet place

Nice!

Nice cosy place if you don't mind being interrupted by an uninvited guest. We should have checked if everything was locked if we didn't want a man interrupting our nice nights sleep. We left after the whole ordeal around 2 am. The management, I feel, could have contacted us the next day to see if we had lost anything or were fine also a bit of our hard earned money refunded. (Maybe the staff from the night shift did not report the happenings of the night before, also my girlfriend is still traumatised.) If you decide to stay there make sure everything is locked especially that balcony door behind the curtains which we seemed to have missed.
