196 reviewsBeing stuck on a tropical island, in the middle of Koh Yao's jungle, within nature is not the badest place to be while having a global pandemic coming around. Right at the start of the lockdown I was forced to stay in Thailand, so I decided to allocate myself in the magical treetops of the Hideout. Staying there longterm was the perfect combination of adventure and self reflection. Having the hotel for myself for a month was a treat like nothing else, Anita and her lovely local hosts were kind and attentive at all times. Mother nature is rocking you to sleep and waking you up in the morning - one of the best beds I've ever slept in! It was just really nice to only be for a moment and to not be overstimmunlated with intrusive services. All in all, if you love to have a second to yourself and enjoy really great local cuisine in one of the most beautiful places you have ever seen - GO and book your room now. Also, the island itself is so worth to see and explore and the staff is out of the ordinary to give you tips of seeing the secret must see spots that not everyone gets to see.
