Gday Folks,, Allow me to introduce The Hub, Port Vila Vanuatu - Hosts Bryan ( B )  and Galia ( G ), I had the pleasure of working and living in Port Vila for 6 Months -  Jan 2018 - July 2018 and within 3 days of arriving in country and some legwork i secured a cosy 1 bedroom apartment overlooking no 2 lagoon -  Clean , Tidy, Tranquil, Comfortable, Easy Walking to shopping, supermarket  eateries, pubs and bars - local taxi at 1 min easy walk to main road. Hosts B&G are fantastic - Bryan is always busy ensuring visitors enjoy and appreciate the ongoing upgrades, expansion and property improvements whilst G directs traffic around daily housekeeping and upkeep of apartments and surrounds  - top people who are always willing to assist where possible and a couple of quite Friday night drinks around the pool/bbq is not unheard of ! If ya play golf bring your clubs,,,B is always up for game ( ya short game needs work mate ).... Look, its a great place, really nice place, the rooms are spacious, comfortable with A/C, fans, fully self contained with Kitchen, cable TV and individual apartment wifi, ( onsite clothes washing facilities available which is a god send - Sylvie is a angel ),,,,,for any term engagement either short or long term do yourself a favour and reach out to B&G at The Hub and enquire about a stay - highly recommended.....ps,,direct lagoon access and kayaks / canoes available ( local tour guide Ian enjoys a paddle and lives on the ground floor and the Voice ( bigman ) lives top floor - both great blokes and worthy of a catch up, chat, beer and a much appreciated heads up on local tours, drives,  / Do's and Dont's etc....Recommendations -  Beach Bar at Mele Road for a sunday session,,,Warhorse Saloon thursday night kareoke,  and Matt Measey's Brewery Bar main esplanade opposite Casino -  Stone Grill and Golden Port Chinese are others i recommend.. enjoy - Cheers Nick - (  i have travelled and worked abroad for the past 20 years and have experienced a variety of accommodations - this is my first and only appraisal of any premises in which i have stayed - Love it and will be back <<<<)

Oasis

The Hub has been my home away from home for about 3 years now when I began staying here for periods of a month at a time broken up with one week back home in NZ between each stay. For the last 12 months my time here has reduced to staying for about 2 weeks each quarter, but the hospitality remains the same. Top notch. I always feel welcome here, like part of the family now. The owners Galia and Brian, live on the property and they go out of their way to ensure I am comfortable, safe and well looked after by them and their excellent staff, especially when there is cyclone activity in the islands. The apartments are ideal for longer stays and corporate customers as they have everything you need for a self-contained lifestyle away from home whether you chose to cook for yourself or eat out. Town, restaurants and supermarkets are easily accessible. Maintaining working relationships in Vanuatu and back in your home country is easily achieved with excellent Wi-Fi. The surroundings are quiet, comfortable and relaxing, just what you need after a long day at work. see you again in November.

Home away from home

We are a married couple who had the good fortune to choose to stay at The Hub for the first time.  The comfortable clean one bedroom apartment we had was perfect for us and the staff were discreet in keeping it lovely and clean. Galia and Brian, the owners, are a very nice couple who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.  Being close to a big supermarket is a bonus and we did the very easy walk into Port Vila township although there are plenty of passing taxi's if you need them. Would we stay there again? yes, most definitely.

Great place to stay

I've stayed at The Hub both as a long-term resident and for short stays and I love it. It's small (at the moment only about dozen apartments) and  the owners, Galia and Brian, live on the property which means you are always very well looked after by these two lovely people and their excellent staff. The apartments have everything you need for a self-contained, very comfortable stay and all except a couple of the one bedders have beautiful views over the lagoon and catch the tropical breezes. Its location away from the main town means it's quiet but everything is very close and accessible from there. I've stayed in Port Vila a lot over the last five years and in the early days tried out a few places but to me this is excellent value for money and when I come back from work or recreation it fells like coming home. A good place to call home in Port Vila

Recently stayed at the Hub again, it's been a while since we were there hosts Brian & Gailia have been busy improving and building new apartments. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. The apartment was super clean close to town and easy the local supermarket for some self catering. The harbour still shows some signs of the cyclone last year with overturned boats still on the banks. Infrastructure in Villa is happening at a rapid rate.
