The Great Escape Chalets 

We are still blown away now by how wonderful this hotel is. In fact we’d go so far to say as the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We stayed here 5 nights and like most - immediately wished we’d booked for longer! This hotel is by far the best value for money for accommodation and service we’ve ever experienced. Tom greeted us and checked us in and immediately made us feel so relaxed. He booked our return taxi and speedboat back to Samui airport there and then which was a thing playing in my mind which he immediately sorted. Nothing was too much for him. The villa was just wow. The photos don’t do it justice. We were given the least desirable room being opposite the car park but even then it was all very private and peaceful. The villa is huge, a shower and a bath which is a rarity in Thailand, a veranda with outside seating area and jacuzzi also. Unusually but also very handy there is a toaster in the room along with freshly ground coffee and a cafetière. Nice touch! The fridge was filled with complimentary beer and soft drinks which was a surprise and also a rarity in hotels. The AC was powerful as was the shower water pressure. The beach is 5 mins walk away and beautiful and there’s plenty of local restaurants to eat at during the day and night both along the beach and on the street which is also only a few minutes walk away. It really was such an amazing stay. We didn’t want to leave. I’m so happy to have found this hotel as will return in the future. It’s amazing in every way.
