The Crown and Anchor Inn

The service was exceptional. The inn has a common area, they call the library. It was so comfortable and accessible. One of my favorite parts was the outside deck which overlooks P-towns commercial street. Great people watching. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was innovative and delicious. This is the only place I would stay again in Provincetown.

Attended a holiday performance tonight starring Jon Richardson and friends.   Bing, The Holiday Hits was fabulous.  Jon is such an amazing talent.   He is the ultimate entertainer. If you come to Provincetown, please go see Jon at the Crown and Anchor.  It is well worth the trip!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Balena @ the Crown & Anchor last evening. Our hosts, Armando and Keith
(Keith is the boss!) welcomed us joyfully, allowed us to add two people to our party at the last minute, introduced us to their incredible waitstaff, and took time reviewing the menu. We could observe them doing the same for others. We had a really fun and delicious experience.

My husband and I are in Provincetown almost daily, with work. We frequent Commercial Street for lunch or dinner. This summer we went to the Crown & Anchor for the first time. We were greeted by my now most favorite person to visit, Harmon.  Harmon and his husband Keith are at the Crown daily always pleasant and smiling. You can feel how much they care about what they do in the atmosphere.   The food and drinks are spectacular I recommend the cauliflower and humus, so yummy! Anytime we are in town we make a point to stop to chat with Harmon, wether we are having a bite or passing by. We are looking forward to this Thursday for the carnival parade where we have front row seats at the Crown. Harmon and Keith, thank you both for being such gracious hosts.p

Though we did not stay here, we enjoyed a fun evening here. Drinks on the patio bar with an engaging bartender, dinner in the restaurant was excellent (we hear its a new Chef--bravo!), and a very entertaining Piano Bar show featuring Jon Richardson. Fun atmosphere and crown. Will be back

My wife and I went here for drinks before dinner 2 nights ago.  Fun atmosphere, drinks were excellent.  Nice conversation with a retired couple at the bar.  Overall very nice place.  Mixed drinks average $15, but they are tall and worth the price.

The complex is incredible. So many ways to have a great time from quiet dinner outside to a fun show with great entertainers. 

The staff is so friendly and helpful. Armond at the Host Stand is so helpful by explaining all the choices you have and helping answer questions about the shows too. He’s a great resource and friendly!

This is a must visit, stay, eat, and see a great show on everyone’s schedule.

So good!  Last night we attended the movie premiere of PIFF (Provincetown international film festival) at town hall and the after party was at Crown and anchor!  What a party! Crown and anchor have new owners but Keith and his staff have always and will continue to deliver!   Last night was so well done… the food, drinks, people and party were all delicious.  Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Armand and immediately felt at home.

Btw: the premiere movie called “good luck to you, Leo grande”  starring Emma Thompson was smart, insightful, well-written and acted and really funny. 

When we are in ptown we always stop at the crown and anchor at least once!

After being berated by a host at another establishment, Armand and Keith welcomed my large group with open arms! They treated us like family and the food was delicious! Could not recommend this establishment more.

Another great dinner in Ptown, last night we ate at the Crown & Anchor — we had Roasted Pork Pozole, Cod Tacos, Pork Carnitas, Chicken & Sausage Fajitas, and a Steak & Fries; multiple glasses of wine, and shared a huge slab of Tiramisu. 
A special thanks to the Chef and our waiter Scott, host Armand, and Bobby on the piano with his tribute to Sondheim — always a favorite, we will definitely be back on our upcoming visits next year!

Great Food & Service, Even Entertainment!

Attended two banquets with friends and I was blown away by the food and the attentive service. The restaurant and restroom was immaculate. Had Cod fish. The portions were very generous. The key lime pie was delicious. My girlfriend loved her filet mignon. The coffee was excellent.  Yes, we'll be back!

The food is amazing! Our family enjoyed the scallops, the lobster, the ribeye, fish and chips  and more while here. What makes the place exceptional is the staff. Every server, food runner and bar tender were amazing. The one who stood out the most was Keith! He is over the top one incredible. He is kind, knowledgeable, always has a smile and a laugh for you. He really makes this place what it is and we will be back every time just to see him!!

I just wanted to take the opportunity to say Thank You to Rick from the Crown and Anchor in Provincetown. Well planning a friend’s bachelorette party Rick was able to help me with all my questions and emails regarding reservations and purchasing tickets for their Sunday Drag Brunch. He honestly responded so quickly and made everything so smooth with the planning process!

Thank you Rick for  going above and beyond helping us, it’s truly appreciated more then you know!

It is always our first choice when visiting Provincetown. The staff remember us - greet us by name and are warm and friendly.
