We stopped off here on a rainy October day. We are so glad we did. The ladies were very Welcoming and the food was amazing. Such generous portions. The macaroni cheese was the best I've tasted. My hubby had the soup and the steak and stout pie, goodness there was enough for a family of 4.
Definitely worth calling in. Thank you. Hopefully we'll be back (we'll make sure we're hungry first!)

My boyfriend and I booked here whilst on the NC500 for dinner and we’re so happy we did! We got Cullen skink to start and beef lasagnes for mains. Everything was so fresh, piping hot and just delicious! Cannot recommend enough if you’re passing through the local area - make sure to book ahead!

I was on an impromptu drive through the highlands and surprised everything was booked solid on a Thursday night. The Craggan Hotel was my last hope before sleeping in my vehicle. Kate helped settle me in straightaway to the last room available.

The bed was very comfy and I fell sound asleep. I normally wake by 5:30am alarm notwithstanding but slept right through (delightfully). I scooted furniture a tad to fit my yoga mat, had a great workout, the shower was glorious and I began to run late! Kate sweetly packed my porridge as I was a half hour late meeting my caravan.

Spectacular service, plush comfort, easy track and trace. The Craggan Hotel comfort and friendliness made me forget I was internationally traveling during a pandemic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Lovely weekend stay at The Craggen. Both Marion and Isobel looked after us well. They were so apologetic when the central heating broke down. This did not spoil our stay. We had an electric heater in our room and an electric shower so no problems. Food good as always and so was the crack from the locals.

We stayed two nights the staff were very friendly and helpful the food was good and very well presented and the staff were knowledgable about the dishes as I need a gluten free diet there are four rooms non of them en suite but they all have sinks in the rooms as we were the only ones staying this wasn’t a problem to us the room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a fab view

A lovely selection of exciting food options. There is a large variety of dishes that satisfy many preferences. The chef made an extra effort to prepare a vegan version of the gnocchi on the menu. It was absolutely perfect. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. 

Second time here - nice coffee stop after crossing causeway over Kyle of Tongue. Made a note to visit for a meal as menu looked very appealing. A warm welcome from friendly owners. Interesting photos on walls of Jackie Stewart visiting and some very nice cars in the car park.

Well we haven't been here for 4 years, and its 4 years too long.
When we lived up here we tried to go every 2 weeks to eat and in 3 years were never disappointed with a meal.
We moved away but always try and make a pilgrimage if we are ever up in this part of the world.
As usual the fire was lit, and the bar was all cosy.
The same lovely family members running the place and a great menu.
We had the dreamy fish chowder, and the very simple fish and chips. You just cant beat it. They do all sorts but that was what we wanted. It tastes like it is just out of the sea and the chips are great.
Everything is great.
This is a down to earth place. No snobbery like at the Tongue hotel which we hated.
This is an old fashioned, warm comfortable pub / hotel and  I hope it never changes.
We would drive the length of the country to come here and we love it. If it 'aint broke, dont ever fix it x

Stumbled across this hotel by accident and ventured in for lunch which was so lucky as the food was amazing!!

The owners are so friendly and offered such variety of food at such a high standard!

Well worth a visit!

Had a meal at the Craggan Hotel whilst staying in Talmine with my husband and son. Food was excellent with portions being extremely generous. Service was excellent . All in all an extremely delightful experience

Fabulous food and a warm welcome

We dined here twice as staying in B and B locally. Both meals were piping hot and tasty. The fish and chips were great as was the stir fry prawns on the special board. There was a good atmosphere here and a lovely welcome from the staff. Close to the beach to work up an appetite if needed. Lovely scenic area. Thank you
