Teotihuacan RV and Trailer Park

This is more than an RV park, you can camp or stay in some rooms she has. Excellent location in a great little town that has everything you need. The bus service will take you into Mexico City and many pyramids in the surrounding areas.

We came here with an RV caravan but our truck was strangled by diesel emissions failures and is now in the shop in Mexico City. The owner is a delightful lady who speaks very good English. There is water, although it is very slow. There is power but the breaker trips when the park is full, but is easily reset.  We've had excellent power since our caravan left (they are not abandoning us but had to take the other 12 couples forward.)  And there are numerous dump stations.  The bathrooms are clean. The showers are warm in the afternoons, but not real warm. :-) 

It is one block from the church and one block from the main road through town, both easy walks with lots of trees.  The town is clean and has lots of shops and traffic control. The town square is just another bock away. There are numerous good eateries plus KFC and Pizza-Pizza for the unwashed! The bus runs into Mexico City. Not perfect, but the price is excellent and there is dental available on the premises (daughter is a dentist.)

Walking distance to Teotihuacan, we camped in our car in this grassy, safe and secure park. There is plenty of room for rigs of all sizes and Mina, the owner, a wealth of information on the Mayan pyramids nearby. Hot water showers, electricity at sites, OK wifi, plenty of firewood and a brazier, and easy access to local restaurants, laundry and 10 mins walk away from the supermarket , it's a great choice. After visiting the pyramids of Teotihuacan, we left our car there for 4 days to explore Mexico City. 
There are 3 dogs onsite which add to security and are very friendly and keep Mina and her poop scoop busy! 
Lots of other rigs/travellers when we were there, but we didn't meet anyone staying in the accomodation so can't comment on that. All considered, a great atmosphere and highly recommend this site.

Safe, Quiet and Good Location

Teotihuacan and Mexico City.

Family friendly and dogs are wellcome

This campground really deserves three stars and a half -- the owner is lovely (she also speaks English) and keeps great care of the lawn. Her dogs roam around but are friendly and, at least in my opinion, are another plus. All of our onsite neighbors were jolly and seemed to enjoy spending time there. What we did not like: there's a good amount of street noise at night, and the facilities need updating: there was no warm (let alone hot) water, no hooks to hang any clothing or towels, and no locks for the stall doors. After a little updating, this place would be unreservedly recommendable.

very friendly owner, but facilities need upgrade

I ignored the previous reviews about the dogs. Big mistake. There are 3 loose dogs, one of which never stops barking. This sets the others off... There is one more dog in a wire cage that in the 3 days I was there was never let out. This poor thing barks all the time as well, probably going crazy. My last night at the site they barked until 4am.
When telling the owner she claimed that he was seeing ghosts! 
The campsite could be really nice, but for the constant barking, I could even put up with the non-existent hot water. 
By the way I am a huge dog lover, its just the owner doesn't seem to care about the noise. I guess this is because there isn't another campsite in town.

Owner has out of control dogs.

A previous commenter said that this park is "family friendly and dogs are welcome". Well, we were here with 3 little kids and my service dog... my service dog (certified in the US) was BIT by the owners dogs. She was absolutely terrified.
The same dogs chased our 3 little ones, pooped all over the place (for us to step in! yay), tore up our garbage and the garbage of others (ours, with diapers, was worse) and generally made this place hell.
Added to that? What wifi? What hot showers? What privacy in the bathroom? What quiet from the road?
Oh - but a good and steady 200 pesos a day. NOT WORTH IT. If there is anywhere else to camp, go for it. Hell, even boondocking in someone's yard is better than this.
