Talist Siwa 

My wife and I and another couple joined a packaged trip to Siwa for 3 nights and 4 days. It was a small group in a chartered flight from Cairo; very well organised. Everywhere was there: floating in salt lakes, dipping in hot springs, visiting the archeological sites, going on Safary, sand boarding, dining in a camp in the desert, you name it🥰 The highlight though was staying in Talist: the dedicated owner, Eng. Nabila the GM and her family who designed and built the place, the manager, Ms. Lobna, the ever-smiling staff, the spacious rooms or rather small apartments, the full Egyptian breakfast, they even have a natural swimming pool but we couldn’t find the time to use it. An eco lodge but without being extra religious about, there was one bulb in each room and a water heater in the bathroom, but no AC or TV, not they we felt the need! The medium size lodge, about 26 rooms, with its personal touch and genuine welcoming made us feel at home. We had a chance to go visit and dine other eco lodges which we were even told are slightly more expensive. Well, weren’t we glad we stayed at Talist. We will definitely suggest it to our friends and family.
