Taj Mahal

Stayed for two nights in early August. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Old house, you can hear your next door neighbours, but if that doesn't bother you it's fine. Had a good night's sleep there. Wifi worked fine as well. Not too difficult to find if you know how to work a map. Great location!

We booked this accommodation because of the advantageous location in the old town of Brasov.
The prices are quite affordable, especially if you are two people travelling. The initial plan was to stay only one night, but then we decided to stay a second one and the staff was prompt to arrange us another room for the second night. The room is quite basic but for 1-2 nights you don't need more. The only bad thing is that there is no hair dryer available so I recommend to bring yours.

Location is great, just couple steps from city center. Young staff member was helpful. Room is cozy.

There should be some instruction how to use shower, since it was a bit confusing. TV should be fixed. Parking is such a mess! I recommend you to park somewhere nearby, because if you have to go reverse from hotel parking like I did, you are very likely to scratch your car.

Great location - nice room

Good location for a fair price

Good for the price, avoid the parking

Good points:
1. Perfect location—it's close to all of the popular attractions of old Brasov. 
2. Friendly, nice and welcoming staff. They helped us to solve one our big problem... we are very grateful for that help! 
3. Spacious and cozy rooms. 
4. Free parking

Bad points:
1. Not really clean 
2. Difficult to find 
3. No discount in the restaurant (maybe you should beg for it:) 
4. Poor sound insulation—you will hear all the sounds from the other rooms and from the stairs.

Close to everything

I arrived around 2.30 in the morning, as stated in booking, but I found locked doors and nobody around. Middle of the night, alone outside. Cold. Luckily, I had their number, so I called and then one of the employees came to give me the keys. In the room, there was no chairs, floor was a bit dusty, no curtain on the roof window (in the morning sun gets directly into your eyes)... Bed was pretty comfortable. Most of the times, volume could not be turned down on TV, so either it would be extremely loud, or you could mute it. Wi-Fi was poor and hard to use in the room. Walls, room door and floors were made of a thin wood, so of someone would walk out in the corridor, your floor would squeak too. Doors could not be just closed, only locked, otherwise would open. Second night, I was woken up at 3 o'clock in the morning by the next room guests - loud talking, laughing, yelling in the corridors. It lasted until 6, 7 a.m. When I told it to one of the employees, he simply said that those guests were leaving that morning. Hm... When I asked him if he could call me taxi for next morning, as I don't speak Romanian, he just said no. Location was excellent - literally few steps out to the main square and Black Church.

Location (most of all)

The rooms looked nice. We rented two rooms. The shower didnt worked on each of them, and so the heating. They switched off the heating and it was cold there all the night. In the morning  we had maybe 10 degrees in the room. Terrible and also there wasnt any parking places. It was difficult to get there our stuff and find a place for the car... 
Maybe good in summer.
