Taanilinna Hotell is a wonderful hotel! The hotel is located in the medieval town center, close to one of the old gates. Even thought the location is really central, it is very quiet, since the hotel is located in a closed courtyard. The hotel staff is very helpful and sweet. They can provide good advise on the city. We booked the Deluxe Double Room, which was very spacious, light and well equipped. Next to the room you can use a large living room, kitchen area and roof terrace. The breakfast is a bit basic, but there are a ton of options close to the hotel (supermarkets, cafe's, restaurants). This was the first hotel stay for my son, who is just 5 years old, and Taanilinna Hotell has for sure raised the bar for upcoming stays. I would recommend this lovely hotel!
