Joseph and Pan have raised the bar when it comes to hospitality and location. Our ferry was delayed and we arrived in Syros at 1am but they arranged a taxi to meet us and waited up to welcome us!!! This was to be the beginning of an unforgettable few days. Our room had an amazing view over Kini Bay and beyond. Even breakfast was 5 star quality. They could not have been more sincere or helpful. We only wish our stay could have been longer.

This place is heavenly. Panagiotis and Iosef were the perfect hosts bringing us fresh fruit from their garden. The balcony view was stunning and the flat had everything you would need. We stayed 11 nights and could have stayed longer. The pool is small but very refreshing after the summer sun. You don't need a car but you do need strong legs to get up the last hill to get to the hotel. Would thoroughly recommend!

Thank you so much guys for the most memorable vacations! Your kind, calm, discreet but present energy is everywhere and it really makes a difference. Syrou Lotos is a magical place with a breathtaking view! Definitely recommend.


At first I was puzzled as to where we should stay on Syros, we never regretted our choice for Lotos, the most quiet beach on the island with natural shade no matter what time you get there. 
The property is a quite interesting, the gardens and the surroundings are beautiful, the pool (although not so big) is always clean and refreshing, the sun beds are amazing, the whole place was so quiet although it had full capacity at the time of our visit. 
Car rental is definitely recommended, the last 100m. are on a steep road, at first we got startled but we got used to it in no time and walked every time we wanted to get to Lotos or Kini beach. 
Mr. Iosif is the coolest guy, hospitable and really helpful in anything we asked, the cleaning lady was very meticulous and discrete, the room was nicely decorated, so breezy and spotlessly clean, they even had every single cup, plate, spoon etc sterilized in vacuum packing (first time I’ve seen this in a hotel!!), all in all we were so happy with our choice and we would definitely suggest this to our friends and family. 

Syrou Lotos is located in between two beautiful beaches. If you want a more quiet day go down to Lotos Beach (5min walk) and if you're looking to eat, and have a more vibrant day, go down to Kini Beach (7min walk).
The hotel is at the top of a steep hill, but you can stop along the way, catch your breath and take the beautiful scenery in.  once you get to the Hotel, jump into the pool to cool down, it is lovely.

The rooms are clean and depending on what you book, you will have a kitchen to selfcater.

Iossef, the host was really friendly and helpful, and although we didn't speak the same language (I don't speak Greek) we understood each other perfectly!

The beach is small but offers lots of shadow thanks to the trees there and some free umbrellas also

We came here two years ago and when planning this year's three-week island-hopping journey, this was the only place we chose to return to. Got the same amazing two-bedroom apartment with an exceptional view of the sea. Enjoyed the pool-area after coming home from the beach and spent the evenings on the large terrass.

We have visited many Greek islands over the years and dont usually write reviews on the places we have stayed at. However Syrou Lotos is exceptional.
The views are stunning, the owner so kind and helpful and this is probably the cleanest property we have ever stayed in.
Our room, number five, was a good size with a huge private terrace overlooking the bay of Kini and the hills and coastline beyond. It was simply breathtaking.
Iosef, the owner is a lovely smiley man and helped me to identify all the islands surrounding Syros regardless of the language barrier. The wifi connection was great, a brilliant shower and super comfy king size bed.
We had six blissful nights at Syrou Lotos and will remember that view forever. Yes, the hill up to the property is steep but well worth it for a wonderful stay.


Great place to stay. Owner didn't speak English but this echoed how unpretentious the place is. He goes above and beyond to check you're ok at each interaction. We got by just fine. Kini is a great Village which is suitable for tourists who want a quieter holiday but still some great places to eat and beaches on your doorstep. 

We enjoyed our stay here. There was a problem when we found out that on the day we intended to arrive there would not be any ferries but the owner was understanding and helped us re-work the reservation on booking.com.The room was excellent with a well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful terrace affording views across the sea to Kithnos. Lotos Beach is close by. The property is at the top of a steep hill so guests with young or elderly family - and without a car - might struggle.Also there is no breakfast provided so be sure to bring supplies with you. Tavernas and a small shop are about a 12 min walk away.There are 9 buses a day to Ermoupoli from the centre of Kini - the fare is Euro1.80.
The owner does not speak English but he was friendly and helpful.
Highly recommended.
