We arrived & were instantly made to feel welcome at this cozy hotel. Perfect location 10mins by bus from Tromso centre with a bus stop a 2 minute walk away to the drive. 
Our room was comfortable, clean & well equipped with a fridge, tv & comfortable bed! Kettle, iron & hairdryer from reception with no charge of deposit required!  
We were lucky enough to have a sea view too! 
Breakfast was available for 3 hours from 6am with a wide selection & a gorgeous view from.tne dining room.
3 different flavours of pizza were available in the evening if we didn't fancy heading out which was a great addition to the B&B hotels services.
All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable & welcoming. 
We had the best time! Highly recommend this hotel.

We decided to stay here as it was away from the City lights in order to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
It didnt dissapoint amazing views from our room and a 2 minute walk took us to a pitch black spot on the beach where we watched the lights appear time and time again.
The hotel itself is basic as is the room and breakfast included but it did everything we needed and the staff are very helpful.
it is a 35 minute walk to the centre but we got a 7 day bus pass and it was helpful it takes around 8 minutes on the bus and you can travel everywhere across Tromso on it.
we will look to come back to Tromso again very soon and i probably would not look to book anywhere in the city as it has such a good spot to view the Northern Lights on a clear night here.

Excellent value for money. Rooms are large, basic with twin beds, but very comfortable. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate but pizzas are the only food available at other times. when we were there they had run out of pizzas but happily arranged a pizza delivery from a pizzeria in town. A limited selection of drinks are also available from reception.
The hotel is only meters from the foreshore and we were luck enough to have a fantastic show of the Northern Lights  3 nights running!

I stayed 4 nights and the  place is very comfortable, clean, and quiet.  Rooms have all you need, a comfy bed, refrigerator and a TV. Its location is just a few blocks from pubic transportation. Breakfast is great and they prepared me a special plate when I could not go out for food due to an injury. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Friendly staff, beautiful location, lovely rooms and perfect location for the northern lights. There was a lot of cloud when we went so this hotel enabled us to stay inside waiting for a clear sky, then go outside to the beach to capture the most incredible northern lights!! Breakfast was nice too with lots of windows to enjoy watching the snow fall. It was about a half an hour walk to the centre of town (you can also get a bus) and we enjoyed the beautiful views on the way. Thank you!!

There are many pros and cons to this hotel but overall we really enjoyed our stay here.  The rooms are basic but you get a tv and fridge and unfortunately all the bedrooms have single beds!  They don’t mind you rearranging the furniture, which me and my husband did.  Even though we pushed the beds together they were still two singles. But, I must say, very comfortable.  There is a lift and free wifi.
You get towels, loo rolls and there is shower gel and soap in the en suite with shower cubicle. There are no tea/coffee making facilities but you can ask at reception for a kettle and hairdryer. We took our own tea/coffee but you can buy pizza, snacks and drinks from reception too.  There is no bar area, but reception does have seating where you can watch tv or relax reading a book looking across the fjords.
Breakfast is continental - cereals, cheese and meat buffet, bread, fruit and yoghurt and boiled eggs. It was nice at the weekend when breakfast was served until 10.30 so we got a lay in.
Parking is free and ample. There are bus stops very near and the buses are regular.  We paid about £5 to get into town (10 mins).  We also walked in the snow a few times (wear Trax on your shoes as it can be icy on the pavements) and it took about 45/50mins from the hotel to the Tourist Information centre.  There are two supermarkets nearby and a petrol station if you hire a car.
The staff were all lovely and helpful and even the cleaners were chatty and came every day. They all spoke excellent English and helped us with our Norwegian pronunciations!
The hotel is not luxurious, but we couldn't really fault anything, as everyone was so nice and the place so laid back and relaxing.
I would recommend this hotel as affordable, peaceful and a great spot to catch the Aurora at night with stunning views in the daytime.

It is situated of the city center. Just a short walk (300m) to perfect place on the beach for Aurora watching. Juat go a little bit to the west,there are almost no lights. Very good breakfast and the stafd was very friendly. Room was clean and had a fridge and private shower and toilet. 

This was my 2. stay in this hotel, and sure not the last one.
Unfortunatly I forgot my reading glasses in the room, and they sent it back in mail!

And I can say it is fair enough for the price.

The location is just perfect a few meters from the beach, right outside of the centre of Tromso. Bus stop at the end of the hotel driveway will take you to the centre in 5min and very good connection with the airport, only 20 min by bus.
Staff was really heplful and friendly at any time.
Unfortunately no northern llights for me during my stay, weather was extremely bad for the time of year. But I do see how this is a top location to spot the lights with very little to no light pollution. I would stay here again no doubt.

Very nicely located at the southern tip of Tromsøya, great view over the fjord, bus stop close to the hotel, 10 minutes going downtown, shopping possibility 5 walking minutes. The rooms are big, especially by Tromsø downtown comparison, a bit youth hostel style but with a nice seating space. Decent breakfast is included in an equally decent room rate. Also great for groups. Definitely recommended
