I would recommend to avoid this apartment hotel. The support and flexibility of the support they offer is terrible. Cancellations are more or less impossible.

There are other better and cleaner furnished apartments in Zurich.

Avoid at all cost!!

The room looks not at all like the picture. The kitchen is hardly equipped and the rest of the furniture is old and visibly used. The TV did not even work and even after calling the help hotline and writing an email as requested, nobody came or contacted us. I would never invite guest there again.
The only good thing I can say is the distance to the train station is great.

Way too expensive for what you get

🛑🛑🛑 TThey are greedy people without empathy and lack of human understanding. No matter what issues you have with your stay or booking they will never resolve and never write back. My family member died and I couldn't attend my reserved SwissStar apartament and they even didn't allow me to change the reservation date not refunded for me any of 500 chf money. They didnt respond emails and calla. At the end they just got 500 chf for free. Again, my honest advice - AVOID Swiss Star Apartaments company!!! 🛑🛑🛑

exceptionally small room. But i booked last minute in December & obviously i had limited options, i could have got better ones at same price... but i wont blame establishment. 

Its a decent hotel overall, clean, sharp & well located. Tram station 5 mins of walk away & directly takes you to bus stand which then is center point of all excursions. 

I recommend this only if you are on a very tight budget/ or OK to compromise on quality of hotel. 

for me, this was a learning to never book 4 days before trip if you want to stay at decent place. 

i am quote sure this property cannot sustain any covid minimum hygiene standards .

Decent for Solo traveler

Pathetic service and ridiculous guy on Customer Service. Th e guy sitting on Customer service is really really rude and do-not have the basic etiquette to talk to a customer. Whenever you try to be reasonable with him he even threatens.

Since there are lot of issues in the apartment when you call only once for the help or even in emergency you get a back to back threatening call that you should never call to the customer service.

They will take your deposit and will even digest it without any second thought.

Due to #COVID-19 outbreak I was forced to stay in Oerlikon, and there was not much choice I was aware of. Until 2016 this company also had acceptable service. Now it's horror. All the members of the staff are unpleasant, uneducated and incompetent: Cyril Montag, Jerome Huber, Yashar Ardabili, Celine Rochereau. They didn't respect any of the terms and conditions written on their pages: neither about extension of the stay nor noise or the room cleanness, or reporting the breaking and entering.
The laundry, stairs and balconies are dirty. Some not cleaned for decades. The staff, including the cleaning services, give out keys to the homeless, who steal the receipts, cloths, even underwear, eat, and sleep in my bed, and create a lot of night noise in the apartment just near mine. The last day even WiFi didn't function at all. Jerome gave out the room keys to some homeless who didn't return them, and now I should pay 250chf. Just avoid that place. There are much better facilities on much better price, just few kilometres away.

don't even consider it

I booked on day of travel and pre-paid for three nights. Dirty lobby, smell in hallways, room right beside two busy and loud roads,  and fridge is as noisy as a car engine. I have stayed in much better budget hotels. I left and moved to another hotel. Company has refused to return my 275chf prepayment. My advice, dont stay here, but if you want to stay look at the room first and dont pre-pay

Be careful

I was suppose to rest in them hotel after 30 hours of travel with my 4 years old son and required an earlier check-in that they refuse so i asked to change the date of arrival as we are suppose to stay only a few hours in this hotel. Them manager refused completely my demand leaving us stay in terminal of airport having paid 59 Euro for nothing. I absolutely not recommend this hotel if you are in transit

Absolutely unflexible

In all my travels I have never encountered a worse booking through booking.com and I have been to every continent. The company advertised a property that we rented and when we arrived the room advertised was not the room we got. It was so bad I spent 250u euro to leave and go to the Holiday Inn which I would strongly recommend staying in instead. I asked for a refund and was denied. I believe in karma. What goes around comes around for this property. I booked this as a present and was so embarrassed when I arrived.
Towels were dirty, bed gave my boyfriend back pain, toilet was tiny, shower was too small so water went everywhere in the bathroom. Building itself was run down and dowdy like it was built years ago and was never renovated. Dont waste your money

Worst place I've ever stayed.

First of all the photos of the apartment rooms and other areas on booking.com website are just a fake impression on the customers but in reality the floor is scratchy the tv does not work very bad smell in the kitchen the table was hardly standing on its feet just 2 bottles of 30ml body wash importantly cockroaches in the kitchen kitchen was filthy refrigerator wasn’t working only the freezer compartment was working the windows in the apartment open to the main road and the train lines nonstop noises till late in the night no such thing of customer service despite there was a number to call but useless as nobody will come out to sort any problem out basically it’s all wrong from booking. Com people to the Swiss star apartment management just ripping off customers I have lost my trust in booking.com disappointment the way booking.com people handled the seriousness of the the issues I faced while I was in the apartment as well as after I checked out of the apartment the very next day. My youngest son got sick because of that smell  Shame on you people at booking.com.
