Absolutely loved my stay with Surrey Beach House. The location is unbeatable on the beach block with restaurants close and offers two exterior decks. The hotel is modern and new with amenities including the best pillows, beach chairs and badges, coffee, a refrigerator, and two chairs and a table. Everything was wonderful; and, if you do need something, they will respond within minutes. I've already booked another stay with them because it was such a great locale and offered all the things I love about the beach.

We stayed in a 1st floor suite. Everything was clean and fresh. Great location a few steps from boardwalk. Hi recommend!

Great property on beach block and close to everything you'd want:  beach, multiple restaurants, ice cream, movie theatre and more.  We stayed in a premier suite which was perfect for our family with 2 children who used the queen sized sleeper while the parents had the king sized bed in the dedicated bedroom.  Seamless experience with the check-in and check-out process and uber fast response from the owners when we had a question.  They did this right - everything was well maintained and clean.  We look forward to staying at the SBH again.  

For your planning - The use of beach chairs and beach tags, a very nice amenity but they're within the rooms, so if planning to use the beach on check in or check out day, you'll need your own items to maximize the full day.

This place was amazing for a couple night stay while my friend was visiting from out of town! So clean and cute. The pickle ball paddles were such a cute touch too. Right on the beach and a block away from adorable restaurants and shops 😊 even though they didn’t have staff on site during our stay, the communication was excellent! I would definitely book again or suggest it to anyone visiting!

Would absolutely book again. The Beach House was clean, smelled amazing and visually beautiful.

This place was amazing and I hope to be able to come back when the weather is warmer. I enjoyed every second of my short stay.

Loved that it was quiet. I deal with the public everyday and did not have to interact with anyone which made my stay relaxing. Idk about the vip part just really enjoyed my room.

Looks new and Super clean and great area for Summer Beach Days.

Excellent place to stay!

Great stay!

We stayed in the Boardwalk Suite and could not be happier.  The room was incredibly well appointed and comfortable.  From the kitchen, to the roomy bedroom and king bed, to the bathroom which had more than enough towels/linens, everything we would want was taken care of.  John was very responsive with a question I sent just prior to check in, and we very much liked the contactless check-in/check-out process. All that topped off with being just a few feet from the boardwalk and beach.  Simply fantastic!

Great Spot in Ventor

Really nice small boutique hotel steps from the boardwalk in Vetnor. Well designed rooms w/attractive furnishings. Very clean. 

Contactless hotel which was our first experience with. Off-site concierge was very responsive to our questions and accommodated an earlier check in. Very pleasant experience.

Boutique hotel by the sea

My husband and I stayed here ten days in August. We were in a king bed room on upper floor, #305. LOTS of positives about this place. (But first, some history: many years ago we stayed here when other owners had it. At that time, it was a dump! It was terrible; mold everywhere, just totally icky.) The totally new and improved Surrey Beach House opened this year after an extensive gut renovation. The skeleton of the place is still the same but everything is new and clean and modern. LOVED: the very quick replies and responsiveness from John, one of the partners/GM, to any text/email questions we had; the comfortable mattress/pillows and luxurious bed linens and bath towels; the mini bar in the room stocked with coffee maker and plenty of k-cups plus creamers, beautiful coffee mugs, wine glasses; mini MW and mini fridge underneath bar; two beach chairs and two beach tags for us to use; plenty of hot water in shower; two lovely open-air porches with upper one giving you a clear view of the ocean. Be advised: only 5 hangers in closet so bring your own extras; we could hear little kids in adjacent room (but otherwise the upper floor is nicely private); no dresser or chest to store your clothes in; no lounge chair in room (but there is a small round table with 2 bistro-type chairs for eating/working), very little space to put your toiletries out in bathroom. BEST of all: this is one house away from the beach and boardwalk. Very convenient for beachlovers. Also, several good restaurants, ice cream places, movie theater, and Wawa few blocks away. Overall, perfect place to enjoy all Ventnor and surrounding area has to offer!

Perfect place to enjoy Ventnor beach

Great place for my 4 day trip (2 days solo, 2 with family). I had room 302 with two queen beds.

PROS:
-  location was wonderful, just steps from the boardwalk
-  parking - with it being off season I was able to find parking on the street right in front of the hotel. 
- the beds were extremely comfortable
- the decor is modern and attractive
- management was very responsive over the web site chat system both leading up to and during my stay, including giving me extra clean towels on day 3 at my request
- the 4 beach chairs in the room were great to have
- shared 3rd floor balcony was lovely, and I had it to myself when I was out there

CONS:
- there is a passcode controlled deadbolt on the door. As a solo female the first couple nights, I would have felt a lot safer if there was an additional deadbolt that could only be locked/unlocked from the inside
- the shower had NO water pressure, and the cold water was barely more than a trickle, so taking a cool rinse off wasn't easy. 
- parking would be annoying during peak season
- no bike rack / place to lock up bikes for getting around town

Overall I really enjoyed it, and would stay here again.
