Everything was just as expected and as advertised. Small, warm, clean, safe, quiet room. Great mattress and bedding. Just what we needed. We'll stay again!

Love this place! The beds are so comfortable. The pillows are the best.! you can hear the waves crashing from your room, and ocean views? Yes indeed.!! staff is extra helpful and kind.! walk to everything!

Everything was amazing! Kelly at the front desk was so welcoming and accommodating! The room was gorgeous and spotless, and the property is just so cute! Parking kinda sucks BUT it’s a given in such a small area, and it’s free with the room which is uncommon in Bay Area hotels. I only mention it not as complaining, more just advising people to be prepared and drive a smaller car if possible. We will absolutely be back!

Truly enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable with lovely amenities. The property is very well maintained and the staff is so kind and responsive to requests.

The reception desk was exceptional and the location and quality of the well appointed room couldn't have been better, will definitely be back and visit again! However, I would recommend calling the actual hotel you are wanting to book before booking with Expedia. The hotel pricing upon check-in was below Expedia's listed rate and after a long conversation with Expedia, they didn't honor the lower rate. In my opinion, this is a poor business decision by Expedia and I won't be using their services again.

Spotless, modern, bright room.  We loved the room that was warm with lovely music playing!  Kelly was wonderful and accommodating.  Great stay!

Cute, clean and conveniently located a few blocks from the beach, we had a lovely stay the Surf Lodge. Bed was very comfortable.

Such a great stay! The room was spotless and the whole place had a really cute, cozy vibe. Staff was friendly and everything felt well taken care of. We’d happily come back!

The Surf Lodge is amazing and Kelly was the best! We spent 4th of July week here and could have stayed another week...They have a beautiful rooms, a fire pit with cozy blankets, an outdoor shower, beach chairs, in room Nespresso, beach chairs and towels...Everything is well appointed, gorgeous, and we enjoyed a next level us s'mores kit on our last night. In addition, we had a glitch with our Hotels.com booking that was really not the Surf Lodge's problem, but Kelly took it on anyway and resolved the problem for us.Customer service is really important to us, and the Surf Lodge was on point...We will definitely be back!!!

Love this place!!!

I have stayed at Surf Lodge several times. Always amazing! The bed is THE BEST! I usually travel alone and reserve the Economy queen which is perfect for one or two people. The lodge is located on the main road, right next to shops and Breakers café (best ceviche around!), and just a short walk to the most majestic beach I've ever experienced! Stinson Surf Lodge is well worth the stay!

My Happy Place!

Kelly at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating as soon as we drove up to the property. I had planned a mother daughter weekend and Kelly made it extra special. We were able to get a free upgrade which worked out so well because my 14 year likes to sprawl out and leave her stuff everywhere. If I needed anything, I was able to text Kelly for help and she always responded promptly. Side note: I had a little trouble with the key code to our room. (User error, nothing to do with facility) The property offered a feeling of privacy, security and relaxation all at once. I will be coming back. This place was amazing. It’s been a long time since I've been this impressed with the level of service and care. Thanks Surf lodge for making my mother daughter trip so memorable.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Surf Lodge. It’s super charming and stylish! It’s really close to the beach and you can walk to everything. The bed was so comfortable! I had the best nights’sleep I’ve had in ages. I work with the public so needed a solo beach vacation where I got to not talk, sleep and eat when I wanted to, and enjoy meals out. It’s a short drive to a ton of beautiful places and the hiking nearby on Tam is great, with stunning views and fresh air. I will recommend this place to all my clients who need a sweet relaxing getaway and who demand both all the comforts and super stylish design in their vacation hotels.

The property was very nice , so clean and the bed was so comfy. We really enjoyed the design and the look of the property.  The proximity to the beach was perfect and parking was great. The front office personnel was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at  the Surf Lodge and hope to go back again soon !

Perfect lodging for the area. Small, super clean, efficient rooms, there’s so much to do in Stinson Beach that the room just needs to be comfortable ( great bed!!!) and easy.  The manager/owner was exceptionally nice and helpful,  I’d recommend this to anybody and everybody who is traveling and needs a safe, comfy, perfect location room (s)
