Great place to stay, pool and hot tub was great, friendly staff

The pool area was fantastic! The slide is wild! All the staff were helpful and friendly. Very clean and the toiletries are all Dove brand, my favourite!

Very clean room, one of the best complimentary breakfast with clean eating area.  Hot enough hot tub in the swimming pool, strong water flow shower, better sound insulation, nice staff.

The staff at check in and the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t enjoy that many hockey families were staying and had a loud party that went on for 5 hours across from our room. The staff were understanding about it, but I don’t feel it’s appropriate for hockey families to play drinking games with the hotel room wide open and people drinking in the hallways. Every time I went to our room, we had to ask for people excuse us to get to our door. I know this isn’t the hotel staff’s fault, but it seems to be a problem at every hotel we stay at during the winter months. They take over the pool area too.

Excellent staff

We stayed here for one night over the holiday week with three other families. The staff were awesome….accommodating our big group to have rooms close by, tolerating our kids energy, and allowing us to use the breakfast area for a pizza dinner. The pool was also great! The waterside was fun and fast, and the kids had a blast.

I took some pictures of my little girls by the Christmas tree and by the stockings hung on the fireplace.  They were instagram worthy.  Our kids loved the pool and said the waterslide was very fast.  The only downside was some rambunctious teens staying for a hockey tournament that were a little loud at night and a little crazy in the pool area.  Other than that I would have rated our stay excellent.

Everything about our stay here was fantastic. Friendly staff, clean rooms, an excellent breakfast selection, accessibility, and a well maintained pool and gym. 

BONUS points for the exceptional, Canadian made, complimentary toiletries, and the coffee and tea bar in the lobby. 

With family new to the area, we will definitely be making this our go to when visiting again! 

Great Experience!

My husband and I went  here to unwind and spend our time hiking in fishing in the surrounding area.  Since we hadn't had the chance to celebrate our anniversary earlier in the year, we decided to splurge and get the largest room with a secondary room containing a living room and fireplace.  The bedroom had a king size bed and was so comfortable we decided to prolong our stay from 3 nights to 5 nights.  The hot breakfast buffet had great variety.  Darcy who works the front desk took great care of us.  This hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly.  The mini fridge in the room didn't have a freezer but we were able to keep our ice packs  for our cooler in the hotel eating area and could access at anytime.  Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning next year.

Great hotel!

The hotel has friendly, helpful staff, my room was clean and cozy and the  bed was very comfortable.  I slept so good both nights i was there.  Boston Pizza is next door so i was able to walk over for supper/lunch and Tim Horton's was across a street from Boston Pizza.  The hotel was situated on the east end of the town which was convenient for me when leaving town.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and in room kitchenette was great. Only missing a collander (so made that suggestion to add that). The beds were comfortable but pillows were very soft so if you like a firm pillow bring your own! The pool and hot tub were lovely and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Because the fridge had been turned up to high prior to our arrival and we didn’t notice or expect that, it froze our veg and drinks but they discounted one nights stay to compensate.  All in all it is a great place to stay and will stay there again.

Great place to Stay

The staff at this hotel are by far some of the friendliest people you will meet. They made us feel very welcomed. The hotel is very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hot breakfast was great too - great selection. My son loved the pool and water slide. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This was the first time staying at a Canalta property.
We were very impressed with this hotel. Very clean, helpful young ladies at the desk. Room was nice, very quiet.
Breakfast was very good as well. Hot and cold items, plenty of choices.
Only downside my husband could not taste the coffee, didn’t care for the brand.
No problem stopped at McDonald’s for coffee/tea to continue on to Drumheller.

Great hotel property.

All the staff were very polite and friendly. The free breakfast was wonderful, great selection of food and beverages. The lady that operated the kitchen was cheerful and went out of her way to make us fresh waffles, just minutes before she was to close down. The pool and hot tub is well maintained, For sure we will stay there again on our next visit to Rocky Mountain House. Thank You to all the staff.
