My stay was great ! I will definitely be back to stay again .  The rooms are nicely updated , the location was great and I was really happy with the pricing . Everyone was very friendly . I heard there will be a new bar and restaurant coming soon which will be great for next time !

I was very pleased with my stay . The price point of this hotel was wonderful! The staff was friendly and accommodating. A new owner took over and I can see the major improvements that are being made. With a sports Bar and Grill on its way in , I will definitely be staying again on my next trip through Tennessee. There are so many cool attractions near by like the Lost Sea Adventures, Horse back Riding through the Smokey Mountains and just a short drive to Nashville,Knoxville and Gatlinburg. I Would recommend it to families or Single travelers looking for a great place to stay on a budget .

I stayed here last year, wasn't so good, but now its completely remodeled and has a really cool sports bar and restaurant right at the resort. And the pool area is much better with the cool tropical uodates. And every room completely remodeled and all new linens. There is new staff here as well, very good people, on point... Way better now!

I just had a 3 week business trip here. You can't match the rates anywhere else. Hannah was on top of every request I had, the maids were great about working around my crazy schedule and the maintenance crew was great keeping the pool clean!

Its a decent budget hotel for family stay. Big rooms, Clean toilets. Staff is very helpful and is available round the Clock. Beds are cozy. Pool area is the best part. I really enjoyed there sipping the tasty coffee they offered. 5 stars for customer service

Despite reading several negative reviews, we decided to book this hotel anyway. Despite reading several negative reviews, we decided to book this hotel anyway. It is listed as Hotel Sweetwater but it is a Motel 6 lodging in Sweetwater, TN. This is a huge hotel, big enough to also be a convention center. It is also under renovation which may account for some the negative reviews. However, the non-smoking room we stayed in had been renovated with new flooring (no carpets), new furniture and with a very modern sink. The tub was also new with unique taps and very hot water. The room also had a bar fridge and microwave. Coffee was available in the very large lobby. The room was a good size with a very comfortable king bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back. 

Be aware of one thing if booking online. We booked through Hotels.com and prepaid them for the room. When we arrived at the hotel, we learned that the hotel does not take prepaid bookings. So, we had to pay again. We were told to contact Hotels.com for a refund. Hotels.com did refund us. Just be very careful when you want to do a prepaid booking. If you do plan to go to this or any lodging, choose “pay at the hotel” or call the hotel first to make sure they accept pre-bookings.

New owners of this motel are working very hard to get it back in shape.We had a recent very nice renovated room.                 Ashlee working on the desk was very helpful and friendly .The overnight stay was very inexpencive .  The very best to to everyone.I will stay there again. Front desk clerk was very helpful and I love that they are starting to be totally smoke free! Renovations taking place are amazing, and owners are very respectable guys!I highly recommend the new Hotel Oyo

Nice Budget Hotel

Stayed 3 nights...upon arrival to room noticed what we thought was housekeeping next room over...wearing short shorts and t-shirt and maybe a tiny weird apron...no staff during our stay looked like they belonged there as far as uniform...seemed the housekeepers have friends and family tag along or sit in parking lot while they work....towels are rare...you get 2 little ones and they come hunting for them after 2 days...(we had brought our own just in case so no hurry on clean ones) when we gave up those two...it was hard to get new ones back later in the day...was gonna try pool but it's small and little kids there most of the time...which is fine,but woulda been crowded..pics on site of pool area are from many years ago...ppl come in late to this motel mostly as a last min ..I can't drive anymore resort...that maybe ok but don't go for an extended stay...room was not super clean...the laminate floors made me wish I brought a swiffer...AC Was on 60 degrees for 4 days solid...still had to buy a fan at Dollar General down the rd...my biggest concern was safety...just a lot of locals or transient type ppl around at night...if we weren't carrying a gun we probably would have left after night one...so if you're looking for a quick cheap night...it's fine...also woke up Front desk girl at 5 pm looking for our towels ...that I had to sign for...( when housekeeper came knocking and looking for my dirty towels I had to sign her sheet to say I wanted to get my towels from front desk later instead of having them put in my room when she was done with them...she said she had permission to enter the room and leave them...umm..no, I don't like ppl in room while I stay) I hate to mess up ppl business and livelihood but most of the hotel is not even rentable...top floor rooms were missing doors, locks ,knobs...it's maybe great for extended stay locals but spend a few bucks more for a pleasant trip to this area of Sweetwater. 

Never felt safe...good rates though :\

I regard myself as pretty tolerant when it comes to overnight lodging. I have slept in my share of dumps. My room was ok—clean, shower hot, etc. but the walls were thin and I listened to people talking, cars coming and going all night long. One guy turned his parking space into an engine repair shop—literally looked like he was rebuilding the motor. 

I guess I should have paid attention to the motel sign saying long term stays available—a bright red flag. I debated whether to rate this poor or terrible. I’ve stayed in worse so this gets two stars...barely.
