Had booked this hotel after an independent research and wasn’t  disappointed at all. Wonderful views from the patio and every helpful staff. We were 3 ladies and never did we Feel unsafe at all during our stay. 
Just one suggestion though- perhaps an automatically timed cleaning service of the room should be made a part of the routine. We had to call for cleaning service

Excellent location

A Nice Cottage with 4 Rooms all connected from inside. You may choose to take even 1 Room and Hotel can shut the connecting door for your Privacy.
Food is not very high quality but decent I would say. Food made fresh so keep 1.5 Hours to order delivery ratio. Sweet People. Helpful. Ask for Room Heater for Comfort and keep it switched on through out the night.
Using Washrooms in the night is tough as it's cold and not insulated so easy 7 to 9 degree difference between the room and the bathroom. 
Will certainly recommend. Relax and Enjoy your own home stay in Dalhousie.

The place is actually a 4 bedroom property. But the rooms will give you a hotel experience. So if you are going in a big group it makes sense to book the whole place as it'll be completely private to you. 

The rooms are interconnected so loud noises will travel to the other rooms. Overall a great and relaxed stay. 

The staff and cook were friendly and helpful as well 

It's close to Gandhi chowk as well which is the small market place. Just 5 to 10 mins 


Cozy and comfy 

This is a heritage property- an old British era Cottage that has been ingeniously converted into a home stay/Cottage type accommodation. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL, in the conventional sense.

The points to be borne in mind first once you consider this property for what it is-

- During the day, there will be regular honking from the road passing by. At night there is total quiet.

- Ample time to chef for preparing meals. His culinary skills are well worth the wait. Factor in about 2 hours. Or for faster service walk down to Gandhi Chowk to Cafe Dalhousie to have full variety of food. That is a restaurant associated with Sunny View.

- Rooms (4 of them) are inter connected with a door lockable from both sides. Noise will spill across to other rooms.

The attraction now. This place is ultimate for groups requiring 4 rooms with attached bathrooms. Rooms are cozy and bathrooms are modern. Linen is good in both and toiletries are basic.

Kitchen is available in house and dining room is nice, as is the living room.

The view from the parking area/compound is amazing. One can see the wooded hills across the valley as well as the beautiful Dalhousie Public School right across. There is nice seating at the compound.

Parking is in house and secure. Way to hotel is- come into Gandhi Chowk from Pathankot side. Take the first immediate right road (Panchpulla road). Do stop at the crossing (Gandhi Chowk) and ask for if you take a wrong road it is difficult to turn.
