⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ UPDATE — SECOND VISIT, SEPTEMBER 2026 Last year I ended my review with: “I can’t wait to come back!” Well… we came back. 😊 And after our second stay, I can confidently say that Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma remains a very special place for our family. Everything I wrote last year about the beautiful beach, exceptional cleanliness, excellent food and drinks, and outstanding service still stands. But after our second visit, I realized that the real luxury of this resort is its people. A few people deserve a very special mention: Helmy, at the bar by the kids’ pool — absolutely exceptional. I almost always saw him working there alone, yet everything was always perfectly organized, clean, calm and comfortable. He remembers what you like, notices what you need and does everything with genuine professionalism. This became our favorite bar in the resort largely because of him. Thank you, Helmy! Romani — probably the waiter with the best smile in the world! 😄 Always positive, warm and genuinely happy to see you. His energy makes your day better. Ali from Benisuma — a true professional. Excellent service, attention to detail and a natural ability to make guests feel special. We sincerely hope that one day we return and find Ali managing all the restaurants — he certainly has our vote! 😊 And a very special thank you to Mahmoud Basiony, Front Office Manager. During our stay, my Crocs disappeared from outside our room. The shoes themselves were not important, but they had a collection of charms with great sentimental value to me. Eventually, the Crocs were found on the beach — without the charms. Mahmoud could easily have considered the matter finished there, but he didn’t. He personally got involved, asked me for photos of the charms and organized another search. A few hours later, he came back with all of them. That meant much more to me than the monetary value of anything that was lost. You learn a lot about a hotel not when everything goes perfectly, but by seeing how people respond when something goes wrong. Thank you, Mahmoud, for personally making sure this story had a happy ending. We travelled with small children, including our five-month-old baby, and Ras Soma remains a wonderful place for a family holiday. Since we genuinely love the hotel and plan to return, just three small suggestions for making an already excellent experience even better: Families with babies could be informed if their room is directly beside an area with loud evening music until around 11 PM, particularly when similar rooms are available in quieter areas. A better baby-cot option for very young babies would also be appreciated. When we asked for an alternative to the wooden cot provided, the staff tried to help, but the solution could be improved. Finally, it would be helpful to make it clearer that the coffee-machine capsules placed beside the complimentary tea and instant coffee are actually part of the chargeable minibar. These are suggestions, not complaints, and none of them changes our overall impression. After two visits, I can say with even more confidence: the people are what make Steigenberger Ras Soma special. Thank you to the whole team, and especially Helmy, Romani, Ali and Mahmoud. ❤️ Last year I wrote, “I can’t wait to come back.” Now I can say: We can’t wait to come back again! 🌴❤️ ——— ORIGINAL REVIEW — 2025 ——— A true paradise! 🌴✨ The beach feels absolutely heavenly — even though there are plenty of guests, the smart layout of everything makes it feel calm, private, and relaxing at all times. The service is outstanding: every waiter and bartender is genuinely welcoming, always asking if you need anything, and never saying “no” to a request. Even if what you want is located on the other side of the resort, they bring it to you with a smile and without hesitation. Cleanliness is impeccable. Every public restroom is spotless and dry, even the ones right on the beach — not a single drop of water anywhere! The food and drinks are of the highest quality, with excellent restaurants and a wide variety of delicious options. This place is truly perfect for a family holiday — a combination of comfort, beauty, and world-class service. I can’t wait to come back!
