Tässä hotellissa on Bergenin tunnelma.  Kaunis, siisti ja kodikas. Pelvelu on ystävällinen. Sijainti on loistava. 

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. Stylish and cosy. Service is friendly and location is excellent.

Kiitos Steens

A beautiful late 19th Century building which is one of a group of grand houses on the same street. The conversion to a hotel has been done well, and the new bar and reception area is a great addition. The dining room is a beautiful room which takes you back in time.

I had a bit of an issue on arrival since reception was unmanned and a mistake had been made in room allocation so that I had been given a single instead of a double. This was quickly resolved later, and the room I was given was excellent. If I could have spent longer over breakfast I would have done, but needed to get to the railway station for my train to Oslo.

Beautiful old building with a real special dining room. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, breakfast good and bar had a good choice of beer and wine. And staff was real nice and helpful. Hope we will see you again!

Wonderful hotel

Steens Hotel is situated next to a park and other beautiful old buildings. The location is also perfect for exploring the city of Bergen. Apart from that there were two things we just loved about Steens Hotel: First of all the staff - they are very friendly and helped us a lot when out trip with Hurtigruten was cancelled and we had to find accommodation when whole Bergen seemed to be completely booked. And second, the breakfast in the beautifully decorated breakfast room is an experience itself! 
Contrary to other members we did not encounter anyone dubious in the park nearby - that is except if anyone wants to count my husband and me as dubious people, sitting in a park, eating peanuts. :D

We just loved it!

Lovely little hotel, nicely situated by a park and close to the centre of Bergen. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds, new bathroom, good breakfast. Nothing negative. We will happily come back.

Nice, comfortable, clean and quiet

This is a small hotel, located near the city center. It's comfortable and quiet, the rooms are a good size and clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I had a bad experience with a car rental, and two staff members spent a lot of time helping me. They were really outstanding. There isn't much parking, and it's expensive, so you should factor that into your plans.

Great boutique hotel in Bergen

Steen Hotel is on top of a hill in central Bergen  in a quiet area, few minutes’ walk but steep. No parking there you have to park down town. This hotel is an old mansion so it’s not a modern hotel, but has its charm, no elevator. Good breakfast and helpful staff.



Charming Hotel

We booked the hotel once we saw the dining room, it's just breathtakingly beautiful, the room is pretty tidy with a very comfortable bed, bathroom a bit small but not a problem, 10mins-ish away walk to the station and centre, I would definitely recommend Steens Hotel.
