This is an "old Florida" motel. When I checked in, the owner walked me to our room and proudly showed it to me, asking if the room was acceptable! I'm a road warrior, who does this anymore? The room was clean, and nicely appointed with a fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable, and our room also had a flat screen TV! During our stay (5 days), the deadbolt on our door sort of stuck. By the time we got back from the beach, it was replaced! A day later we noticed that our AC was not blowing as cold as it had been. After spending a day with friends we came home to a NEW air conditioner. Notice the theme here: Very attentive ownership. This place is only minutes from the beach, restaurants (Two Georges, Banana Boat, Hurricane Alley and the relatively new "The Backyard") And, if you stay in Room #1, a pleasant surprise. Your shower will be a "psychodelic experience". Stay here...you will not be disappointed, you will be pleasantly surprised!
