I stayed at station house for a girls weekend, the rooms are value for money, having a double bed, and double sofa bed (with a bunk on top). Also everything you need in a self sustained chalet, from gas BBQ to washing machine. The gardens were peaceful with heaps of birds in the mornings and evenings. The WiFi was fast and the shower was hot and the beds weren't bad either. If you are looking for an affordable but pleasant place to stay look no further.

Value for money

We were only here for 1 night so it meet our needs. However the walls are thin we could here the kids in the room next to us and they were not being loud.   Overall the unit especially the bathroom could do with some renovation.  Staff were friendly and a bit of a walk into town but there was the shortcut across the footy oval.  Overall ok for a short stay. 

Bed for the night

Ok, so it's not pretending to be anything other than budget accommodation but even so it was a bit disappointing. 
The sheets were clean and the bed was relatively comfortable but they were the only real positives. 
The units are really basic & not very well taken care of. Everything is a bit grungy from the black grout in the shower to the cracked & peeling paint. 
The walls are really thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing even if they are trying to be quiet.
As a place to have a shower & sleep for two nights it was ok but we won't stay here again. 
It is a shame because the location is fantastic. It is within walking distance of the centre of town. With a bit of effort they could spruce the whole place up & it would be great. 

Definitely Budget

Basic budget accommodation. Walls are a bit thin, and second bedroom did not have a window, which made cooling the room difficult with little kids. Could use a renovation, especially the bathroom and kitchen, but serviceable as is. TV a bit small for family accommodation.

Distinctly Budget Acommodation

This place was totally misrepresented in the advertisement. It was old, dirty, had broken fittings, cigarette smoke infiltrating from next unit. No air conditioning.Gardens reported as a highlight were a weedy mess. Had to park at side in what looked like the tip. Had booked for 5 nights. Left after 1.It would not meet standard for regulations.

Avoid at all costs

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and warm. That is the only positive thing I can say about this place. The bathroom had an odour to it, the decor was dated and tacky. The walls were so thin I could hear the people in the next room using the toilet.
There was no internet available and when I went to the office to ask about it, it was clear I disturbed the woman in the office from her TV show. I was told it was working in the office, and did I really need it? 
Will never stay there again.
