My wife and I stayed here on Monday and Tuesday in January for a quick couple’s getaway. It was off-season and the slow days of the week, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The history, ambiance, and age of the hotel make it really cool. It’s old, the floors creak, the walls are thin, and the windows may rattle a bit, AND that’s what makes it a unique experience. We were able to walk right up to the bar for drinks, chat with the bartenders, and enjoy the ambiance. You’ve got to get some cherry pie at the Colorado Cherry Company coffee shop. The tart sweetness of the cherries was great, and I really liked the crust… All the hotel, bar, and coffee shop staff we interacted with were professional and friendly. Overall, it was a great stay.
