Alp Hotel Cappadocia

This area is a MUST in Turkey to see. At the same trip you could visit Cappadocia which is also worthwhile to see with apartment inside stones.
Stone Cncept hotel is near Cappadocia and is a building like a slot made by big brickets. The rooms are not too big but clear and convinient. From the hotel you have very nice wiev. In restaurant there is resonable large list of different food to choose your taste.

In our tour booking yet no which hotel will stay on Cappadocia ! Luckily this good hotel ,nice lobby ,long corridor ( a bit noisy ), Foods for dinner & Breakfast very nice even few day in turkey already eat same meals everyday ,but here look clean n tidy . Room size ( twin room ) with kettle,hair dryer and also shampoo . Unfortunately the day we arrived thunder storm till next day and snowing too ( 24 Oct ) unbelievable weather , no Hot Ballon .. not special for us in morning .

Very interesting place in Turkey to see

Two day trip package from Side

The hotel is great, a really nice ambiance and it has an unique style. The room was clean and beautiful, but the doors were very noisy, we could hear everybody on the hallway. The food was good, but they didn’t had that many options at breakfast and dinner. The waiters were kinda annoying, after you finished eating, they were right behind you ready to take your plate. After all, it was a good experience.

Amazing concept.

Checking in was fast. However our room was in the second floor and there were no lifts. So i have to manualy carry our luggage. Openimg the door was also a challenge. It still uses keys. Upon entering the bed has only 2 pillows. Quite cramp, poor lighting and internet signal dwindles definitely unreliable. Toilet has no dental kit. Warm water is available but the toilet definitely needs renovation. Choose a room facing the pool area because that is the side where usualy the hotair balloon transpires. I love their breakfast and dinner. But still if given another chance to visit cappadocia i would choose another hotel instead. 

Needs Improvent

If you are looking for the following, this is not your hotel;
-“the balloons” view from your terrace,
-a luxurious accommodation with bath tubes in your room and prime dining,
-spectacular views from the hotel,
-walking distance shops, nightlife or city center.

So why would you choose this hotel?
Simple; you need a practical hotel during your Cappadocia trip where you will not spend your holiday but to reach easily, sleep comfortably, dine light and not get disturbed while you are writing such reviews or postcards.

Hotel is located in Avanos but just at the edge of it. Since there are many tours and activities to attend in the region, you will enjoy the location of the hotel.

Rooms are not big but very comfortable for a much needed good night sleep after tough tours. 

Don’t forget this is a high region: lowest spot on Cappadocia area is around 1000 meters from sea level.

Minibar is empty and there are no room safes; there goes my one point.

Corridor floors and roller luggage’s create a loud noise, which is disturbing in the mornings and high turnover times. One more point lost here. 

Breakfast is just ok. Nothing spectacular. If you can just grab a fruit and find yourself a breakfast spot with a vista. Or at least with non-mechanized coffee. 

Rooms are decorated as if they are carved stone caves, thus Stone Concept. 

This hotel is my deal for the people who are in this region to explore, ride horses & atv’s, go early in the morning to balloon tours (Do That!!!), have a packed program and don’t care if their hotel lacks a pillow menu. 

Prioritize your needs, and why you are in Cappadocia. 
Stone Concept might be your choice as well. 


What are your priorities?

(1) Rooms are badly lit to the extent that one gets depressed (2) Bathrooms needs upgradation (3) Shower functioning faulty (4) Slope in the shower cubicle on the wrong side AND FINALLY, infested with Bed Bugs.
Only positives were good Breakfast spread and Dinner

Avoidable!

The tour was sold with the 3 days program, but it feels like its a 3 days of rip of and visiting shopping factories instead of sightseers. The tur guy ERHAN is very pushy by selling extras with very high prices. Lunch on the gas station for $11 drinks not included???? We visited couple of free museums and he collected money for entrance also. Hotels charge you extra for drinks 30tl for a can of beer??? Don't buy balloons tours there also, you can get half-price anywhere else. 
The hotel was in the middle of nowhere and it's so important for Cappadocia to have a good viewpoint on the morning. It has a bad smell in the bathroom. Pillows are like a rock. Breakfast is like a 2-star hotel. Avoid it. 

Tour guy barely speaks English, he is good with taking money but doesn't know any useful information about history or any tips for the trip. I met so many Turkish people who have a decent level of English and a nice personality, but not this person. I expect tur guy to be more knowledgeable about places and history and not about offering me overpriced places to buy souvenirs. So if you want to see Cappadocia avoid this company and especially this tur guy Erhan!

Tour experience

Honestly absolutely terrible apart from the design nothing is good the waiters are rude act is if you are going to run away with the food they charge for a cup water even doe your all inclusive  total vibe food is horable not even variety location is slap bang middle of nowhere nearest shop is fuel stop please avoid at every cost I stayed 3 night I have been turkey 4times this is worse place you rather stay at home
