Room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great. As a woman traveling alone with children we felt very safe here. Thanks for a great stay.

Great customer service. I checked in late and they were in contact with me about where my key was and how to get it. My key was locked and I was given the combo. Combo worked and got into my room even when checking in late and no one was at the front office. Great help and very friendly

The room was very clean.  Bed and pillows were awesome.  Staff was very nice.  Would definitely stay there again.

Everyone is very pleasant and helpful. The property is well maintained and clean. Very safe area. Our 2nd stay in 2 weeks and exceeded our expectations

Room very clean.  So guests were louder than needed to be.  Ice machine was in kitchen and only available Saturday and Sunday 7 to 10 am. Any other time you needed ice you have to go to office and let them get it. And no coffee maker in room coffee only available with breakfast on Saturday and Sunday

Breakfast was made to order . Where is that now ? !

Room was clean and cosy ! Staff was friendly breakfast delicious it was home made 5 the 5 stars 100%r recommended .

info related to breakfast (served weekends only) .....the gentleman serving the breakfast was very eager to take each person's order and serve good food -  but was for eat-in eating only and the seating was very limited so be prepared to stand in line and then wait on a place to sit.  My situation was that I was on a schedule (soccer tournament) and it was too chilly to sit outside so standing and waiting for 20+ minutes and never making it to the front of the line was a deal breaker....their are two pancake restaurants very near-by so maybe that would be an option for some

The staff was very personable and went above and beyond other motels.  We were particularly pleased that it was not in the middle of downtown and parking was easy.  Very close to the National Park. We enjoyed the restaurants recommended to us. They even helped us find a faster route back to Knoxville!

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The location was ideal—far enough from the busy areas to feel peaceful, yet close enough to reach all the main attractions within minutes. The view from our back door was beautiful, and the area felt both safe and secluded. Highly recommend!

This is a clean place to stay. The bed was very comfortable.  It isn’t 4 or 5 stars. The bathroom is tiny. The road noise is very loud at night. It is nice not having to get in all the Gatlinburg traffic to have a place to stay. Breakfast would have been nice. Mike was super accommodating for our late arrival.

The motel was off of the downtown main street which was perfect. Close enough to go downtown if you wanted but far enough that it was very quiet. The stream running behind he motel was very pleasant to listen to. The rooms are newly renovated with a rustic them. The fresh made breakfast was very good but it is only offered on the weekend. I would definitely stay again.

This little motel was so clean and cozy. The balcony overlooking the creek was small but enough to enjoy the sound of the creek rolling in the back. My husband and I got a small trip away from our kids this weekend. It was so peaceful and our room was adorable and efficient. Beds were extremely comfortable I must add too! Our entire stay was great from check in to check out. The staff was absolutely amazing overall, and the chef who made our breakfast to order this morning needs a huge shout out as well! Breakfast was so good and fresh! All for the reasonable price this place was absolutely amazing.

Great all around!

We stayed at Sleep Bear Motel for a long weekend.  The staff is amazing, the room was clean, very cozy and the beds were wonderful.  The large tv was so nice.  We had a fridge and microwave.  The pool is so nice however it was too cool to use.  The back balcony overlooks the brook.  We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

This motel is a gem. It's exactly as described online. Rooms were spotless. Great location just before the craziness of Gatlinburg. Located on the trolley route. Restaurants, Ice Cream, and Mini-Mart within walking distance. Really enjoyed balcony overlooking stream. Helpful suggestions for room convenience:Coffee maker, luggage rack, and bed side lamps.

Sleepy Bear was exactly what we were looking for. It was a short distance from everything to do in Gatlinburg but still very convenient with a trolley stop across the street. The price was good and the room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the free breakfast on Sat and Sun mornings. We would definitely stay here again.
