Great classic place to stay! The dinner and service was fantastic

ALWAYS outstanding. Quaint and lovely. Staff super nice.

Outstanding stay in historic home in keystone with beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. We were given a tour when we arrived and offered use of a gorgeous fireplace (ready to light) and sitting room, but we decided to take a walk and sit on patio overlooking pond instead. We saw a moose, beaver, wonderful birds including hummingbirds. And breakfast was wonderful—great coffee, lovely menu, a wonderful fresh fruit salad, eggs made to order (great omelet option), bacon, sausage, potatoes, toast…such a treat. A hidden gem.

if you’re looking for something pristine, corporate, and modern, look elsewhere. Staying here is about a different kind of experience, which is wonderful. Yes it is rustic. Yes it dates back to 1860s and is historic yet, it is a very comfortable and it’s all about the experience Crystal, the general manager and Carlos, the host went beyond all expectations and making us feel comfortable and meet more than our needs. We just absolutely loved staying here for our wedding anniversary. It’s very quiet and just wonderful.

Second stay & we absolutely love it.  The staff is always amazing!

This was our second time staying at the Ski Tip lodge. Very convenient and not the normal lodging. Very friendly hosts. My only recommendation would be to change up the breakfast every day. The scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon were delicious, but would have been nice to tried a few other entrees the other days. We’ll be back!

I've been a lot of places, and this is one of the coolest hotels I've ever stayed at. The history and the quality of the dining are unparalleled. I had no idea it was going to be as good as it is because I came to ski Keystone and needed lodgings in the area, and then was blown away. The staff and service in the hotel and restaurant are also top notch. Carlos went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. Thank you!

A beautiful property with very comfortable rooms and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We made a reservation at the restaurant and it was amazing. We would love to stay here again.

Phenomenal Hotel by Keystone

I had the pleasure of staying at the lodge this week, and it was amazing. Great location, cozy atmosphere, and great food. Super comfy beds.  They were turned down and the room was tidied up every day when I came back in, and I really appreciated that. The very best part of it all was Francisco. He made us feel as if we were the only guests there. He was so kind and really went the extra mile to take care of us. We did not get to spend much time with the rest of the staff because of their schedules and our trip dates but with the few interactions we had with them we think they’re wonderful too! I recommend this place to anyone and I will be staying again.

This place is a hidden gem if you're not looking for glitz and in-room TVs...in fact I don't think I saw a TV while I stayed there recently. The lodge oozes old-school ski charm and the staff is just outstanding, Brett the manager in particular. It's as close as you can stay to Abasin, and there's a great hot tub steps away apres. Add a cozy fireplace lounge after that and you have the recipe for a fantastic ski vacation. :)

Food and atmosphere was fabulous! We will return again on next trip to Colorado ski area in Keystone!
The waitress was thoroughly familiar with all the choices and was able to help us all choice the best meal for each of our tastes!
Reservations are most difficult to get unless someone knows exact date and the number in your party several weeks in advance. They only have two dinner seatings one at 6 and one at 8 pm. It was easy to enjoy our meal and company with the limited number of each party! No rush to turn tables like many restaurants. This was and A plus meal for our party of 6.

Outstanding meal in Keystone area of Colorado

I hate to leave a review for this amazing Bed and Breakfast gem during our ski trip. Wow, happy as can be. This place is unique, like a maze, a hod podge of 1869 & 1940 construction with modern updates. Comfortable, clean, exceptional staff, and easy enough to get to ski hill. We stayed in a one bedroom 'suite' (3 rooms-queen bed, 2 twin beds with joining bath), keep in mind, that you do not get to choose which suite (there are 3) you get, same is true for the one room options. I hope it stays a Bed and Breakfast, delicious breakfast and oh so filling. I was so tempted like others to leave a one star review to keep this place a secret, sorry. Do not stay here if you need luxury, this place has old time charm. Hot tub is a bit of a walk and is okay. No tvs No pool. 

"It's Easy Edna, It's Downhill all the way". but so hard to leave.

Actually visited here for an overnighted on my way to Vail in 2019 (pre-Covid), but have only recently been nudged by Trip Advisor to finish the review draft I thought I had already posted.

To summarise; quaint accommodation, very historic but comfortable with good service. Parking was fine and close to the entrance.

Superb a la carte dining with fabulous wine selection and stellar explanatory sommelier service, but really badly let down by the tired breakfast, which was just left out in warming pans and contrasted so poorly with the dinner.

Overall, well worth a visit for the evening, but they really need to improve the ‘morning after’ experience.

Evening great; morning not so

My husband surprised me with a two night get away for our 10 year anniversary to Ski Tip Lodge and it was incredible! The lodge itself is nestled in a sweet little grove of Apens with a beautiful beaver pond out back (we saw several beavers) and colorful flowers everywhere. Our room was furnished beautifully and everything was extremely clean. We dined both nights at the lodge and the chef’s creations were delectable. A four course dinner with many options. We tried different selections each night and not one disappointed! We see why this place is renowned for its food. The wine list is extensive. The atmosphere was so romantic and dessert in front of the fireplace just put it over the top. If you need a place to celebrate something special this is truly it! The staff was so attentive and went above and beyond to make our time there special. Many thanks to Gilcon, Zach, Celeste, Ashley, Dominic, Cindy Lou and Austri for such great service. Definitely cannot recommend this place enough!
