I am very pleased with the whole experience. The place is just in the right place. Not to close to the loud city nights, but yet not so far. Beautiful swimming pool, good bar, excellent food, affordable price, and very very professional staff. I strongly recommend Silver Bay. Five stars for sure.

If you enjoy sleeping, do not come here. The bed was hard as a rock, the air conditioner was broken, and the room smelt of sewage. Do not stay here to save money. Spend the extra 30-50 euro to enjoy your life. NOT WORTH IT.

Overall I'd rate the experienfe a 6/10, as ut did take some time to get used to hownthis hotel is run and acclimitise to lack of services on offer. I'll split my ratings into 3 categories: Service, Comfort and amenities.Service - I'd give this a 6/10 as the staff at the hotel did a good job to make themselves a available. First night was almost a disaster as we weren't talked through how to control the ac unit of the room and it led to time being wasted, in a hot sticky room. Once that was resolved, staff were usually quite attentive and the hotel manager was helpful with providing advice on how to get across corfu.Comfort - I'd give this a 5/10. Overall, the rooms were clean and our rooms were cleaned every day. However, the biggest let down was the fact that my room had bugs and i was getting bug bites. This was hugely disappointing and made the first few nights disappointing. Hotel lounge was clean, as well as the pool side. Me and my family when we were at the hotel, spent alot.of time by the pool side sunbathing, which was a pleasant experience. Its quite peaceful also alot of the time, as it wasnt busy at the time we stayed. Amenities - I'd give this a 4/10. There were some stuff which were said to be available upon arrival but just werent provided. An example being an ironing service. This was unavailable and it resuled in me having to buy an iron which disappointed me. Also you didn't have a dinner menu, you ordered the food from a third party restaurant.

I was really surprised with the reviews and to be honest hesitating to stay there but it turned out to be a great place to stay. Nice people working there , quiet place, comfortable rooms. Definitely go back again.

GREAT HOTEL

Terrible hotel and conditions avoid like the plague

There is a reason there are no reviews between 2019 and 2022 - the hotel wasn't in use.  I don't think anything has been done since then, it looks like they just literally opened the doors in 2022 and just started taking guests!  This was the worst holiday I've ever had and the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

I went with my Mum and on arrival we couldn't check in until 3pm and it was 12.30, so we ordered lunch and sat on the terrace.  Our first impression was that it was a bit dated but we hadn't seen anything else at this point.  I then asked to use a toilet to change as I was so hot, I was told the reception toilets were out of order, so they took me to a hotel room to use a bathroom.  When I got back to my Mum I said if the rest of the rooms are like that one this is not a nice hotel....... We were shown to our room after 3pm but had to move immediately as it was a double instead of a twin.  Then we were moved to a "family" room with a double and two singles which was so cramped we could barely move round it.  The air conditioning wasn't working so we asked for it to be fixed, and they got someone to look at it who said it was fine, but it still wasn't working.  We kept asking and it never got mended and they wouldn't move us as they said the hotel was full, we were sleeping in 33 degrees with the windows shut as the first night we had had them open and then been eaten alive by mosquitos!  We were trying to get our Tui rep to help but they were useless!   On our final night (luckily we were only there for four nights!) we asked to move rooms to have some air con and said if they didn't move us we would sleep in reception!  By 10pm we were in a new room with air con.  This was our main problem but there were numerous other ones.....  mouldy shower curtain, shower head fell off and landed on me while I was in the shower, bathroom dirty and grubby and tiny, dirty towels, fridge not working when were arrived, pool filter not working and pool full of dead bugs and dirt, food was terrible and barely warm.  

From the reviews since we went clearly nothing has been done to rectify the state of this hotel, so please avoid it at all costs! 

Only nice thing about the hotel was some lovely lovely staff, friendly and chatty and did their best to help, but the management let them down.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

The toilet bowls were dirty brown and hadn't been cleaned in months. The bathrooms were only just acceptable, as long as you don't mind the shower plugs partially blocked with hair.
DON'T LOOK UNDER THE BEDS. If you're lucky you will just find dirty old socks and fluff dirt going back months.
The breakfast was laid out the night before, temperature 38, 30˚at night.
The receptionist was nice. the pool looked clean, and the Slovenian lorry drivers who use it as their stopover were very polite.
