Shiva Residency is warm, welcoming and the perfect place to stay & It's truly a holy place to visit Lord Shiva(Annamalai) temple.The Staffs were friendly, great hospitality that make us to feels it like a home. This Residency had a quiet restaurant and the food is delicious and plentiful. Overall it was a Pleasant Stay....

Nice location very quiet rooms and clean and neat staffs are very helpful restaurant food was amazing taste nice Shiva Residency and A2B restaurant is a delight. Located on a developing area of Tiruvannamalai nice stay.

Closer to Thiruvannamalai Arunachaleswarar temple, maximum of 5 to 7 minutes of drive.  

Nice clean and calm place if you want to visit temple and go for ‘kirivalam’ or to visit ‘Ramanathans Maharishi  Aasrsmam or many Aasrsmam around. 

Adayar anandabawan (A2B) is situated in the same buildings first floor which makes easy for Vegitarian person who visit temple. 

Price: very reasonable.  Value for money.

We are two families stayed this hotel in the month of december.neat and clean rooms. big bathroom . Three kilometres away from main temple.no problem so many autos are there.another good fecilitie is A to B restaurant is same premises

This is my 2nd visit. This hotel is nice and very quiet. Good service and staffs are very helpful. A simple and affordable place. Not too far frm the temple. Comes along with Adyar Ananthabaavan Restaurant down. A well package. Good stay. 

Shiva Residency and A2B restaurant is a delight. Located on a developing area of Tiruvannamalai and one of the main arterial roads of the town, Shiva Residency is more centrally located for travel as well as a 20-30 minute walk to the Big Temple, town and a 10 minute walk to join the Girivalam around the sacred mountain, Arunachala.. There are a few different sizes and variety of rooms, located down central halls, as well as a few suites. Most amenities are in the rooms, ac, bathroom. The view of Arunachala and parts of town are beautiful from the roof. Prices for rooms depend of the size and reflect the growing tourism business in Tiruvannamalai. Still, the prices are reasonable. There is underground parking for the guests of the hotel. The restaurant downstairs is one of the favourites of locals and tourists alike. Good choice.

situated out of town..so its quiet and far from honking..The rooms are clean and spacious include the bathroom..clean n neat.The lobby quiet small czo sharing with restrnt..but the staffs are frenly and easy to help...

I used to stay in many hotels at Tiruvannamalai but this would be the worst hotel (residency). This hotel was booked by my tour agent.   I scolded him for this bad error. The luggage's need to be carried to first floor where the reception area is located. Reception area is the main entry area for Ananda Bhavan restaurant also. The lift is small and it is the only life for whole hotel. The room was spacious but bathroom was not clean at all. There are stains everywhere in the toilet. The electrical wiring was messy in the bathroom. The heater not working. You must beg for the towels and toiletries. The hotel breakfast will be served at Ananda Bhavan restaurant. No choice for your breakfast and it is limited. The waiters will entertain hotel guests and public at same time. You have to wait for your breakfast about 15 mins. I request for extra Idly and the waiter request me to wait since the idly is in the progress at kitchen.

Must improve on cleanliness

1. You need to carry your luggage to the 1st floor- reception area- it is also the entrance to the restaurant.
2. The room smelt like urine the whole time.
3. The bathroom smelt like urine too, the toilet had urine stains because they didnt clean it. I had to wash the bathroom before using it.
4. The floor mats were so dirty and had urine smell too.

The only decent thing is the mini tiffin breakfast in the morning from ananda bhawan, The rest is horrible- if you have extra cash, please book a better hotel. I was so upset with my tour agent for booking this hotel.
