Fabhotel Shimla Resort

It is among the finest hotels available in that region at such an affordable price, the hotel comprises of all premium and luxurious facilities which are campaigned by OYO rooms ,a must visit for you in Lucknow.

Shimla Resort is located on the main highway connecting Kanpur from Lucknow. When I was there for a wedding, the road was in construction, so we faced little traffic near the resort.

I think the resort is under construction, maybe they are increasing floors due to higher demands.

They have a big garden and a big hall since they are increasing floors they need lifts, there is no lift installed.

I was there for a night to attend a marriage function, The decoration done by the hotel was beautiful, I love the atmosphere they had created. The food stalls are also placed very well.

The staff, waiters all are all the time smiling and greeting guests in a nice way, everything is in reach.

The function went well, I and my family enjoyed each and every bit of the function.

Decent hotel in Lucknow. The price is very affordable and the staff were friendly. There is free wifi that works pretty well. The room was fairly clean,  hot water for the shower. Breakfast was included with the room. If you are looking for an affordable hotel for a night or two then it's a good place to stay.

A really nice hotel in Lucknow noise free . The location might not seem good, but it's actually not too far (providing your taxi ) from the railway station. It's also really close from Gomtinagar.
The staff was really helpful, arranged a taxi for us for the whole day at a fair price  and drop us to the railway station afterwards. They bring your dinner/breakfast in the room (there is no actual restaurant to eat at, it might bother some people). And the beds are incredibly comfortable. They have tata sky TV with tea maker in room.
Really good, a bit far off the city center though. But I would recommend it to people travelling to Lucknow

Great hospitality good food and  accommodation 

I opted for this property based on the reviews I read on tripadvisor and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions of my life. The resort is located not in Lucknow city but on the outskirts on Sultanpur road and is very difficult to locate. I checked in on 27th June 2016 and checked out on 29th June 2016. The check in was really smooth and the room was quite good. The bed sheet was not clean and crisp and had stains on it. The bathroom was neat and spacious. To my horror I realized that I was the only guest there. There was no kitchen and even a cup of tea has to be managed from outside. It is no surprise that the quality of tea served was horrible to say the least. The only saving grace were the tea / coffee sachets provided in the room. The food also had to be managed from outside and was below average. There were only 2 employees managing the resort (other than the security guard at the main gate); one who assisted me in the check in and check out and the other one who was serving me tea and food. Since I had paid for my stay in advance I couldn't even move to a different property. On 27th there were 11 power cuts in the evening which was really irritating. The wi-fi didn't work on 27th June 2016. The only good thing about this so called resort were those 2 employees who were very helpful and polite. This property is more like a wedding point rather than a resort. Also there was a German Sheppard dog who was really ferocious and very aggressive. Overall it was a nightmarish experience and I am sure I would not recommend it to anyone.
