Dear travelers and adventure enthusiasts, if you are looking for a place where your heart can experience a full spectrum of emotions from disappointment to anger, then SheraInn is the perfect choice! This hotel, which calls itself "expensive" and "good," actually reaches unprecedented heights of unpleasant surprises.

Yes, yes, I am a traveler with experience, a genius of the highest level, who has stayed in luxurious Dubai hotels where the staff is ready to anticipate your every step, and have spent nights in hotels in Novosibirsk where mosquitoes played the role of free blood-sucking masseurs. SheraInn has managed to create a unique combination of the "best" from both worlds!

Let's start with the rooms, where I expected to immerse myself in comfort and luxury, but instead, I was greeted by the smell of dampness as if I found myself in an underwater cave. The air conditioner, which was supposed to create an oasis of coolness, turned out to be not only noisy but impossible to make quieter, depriving us of the opportunity to enjoy tranquility. And all this happened after calling a technician who entered the room in dirty footwear.

Furthermore, the problems kept accumulating: besides the dampness, there was a smell of old bedding in the room, which did not add any charm to our stay.

Imagine my astonishment when I opened the curtains and saw construction netting in front of the window, ruining the view of the mountains. It seemed as if the windows had not been cleaned for a hundred years and served as a source of dust and dirt.

And how enlightening it was when I headed to the spa, hoping for relaxation and tranquility! Instead, I was greeted by a rude spa staff member who didn't even offer towels. I had to beg for them myself.

And what about the fitness bar? Unfortunately, it doesn't exist, so if you want to replenish your energy after a workout, you'll have to seek inspiration on another continent.

But the most horrifying moment was breakfast, where I was welcomed by a rotten chicken with an unpleasant odor. My complaint to the senior waiter did not receive any apologies, only indifference and explanations that it was a mistake by a novice waiter.

In conclusion, SheraInn deserves the title of the world's most dreadful four-star hotel. Travelers, be prepared for an unforgettable experience that you'll want to forget like a nightmare, and share your story with others so that they know what hospitality pitfalls await them in Almaty!

Hell

The hotel service was not at all upto the mark. Staff at reception needs to work on their English language. Before coming to the hotel we checked with them for early checkin and checkout. The staff confirmed there won’t be any additional charges for the same, however, on the last day they did everything to make it tough on us. We decided to extend the stay by one day and were told certain amount to be paid on the second day of the stay and it was paid. Upon coming back from tour in late evening we were told you need to pay extra because staff made some mistake and told us wrong tariff for the extra night in addition to early check in charges. Ayat got involved on last day (good in English) and helped us to resolve the finances and came up with in between amount. But the drama from staff that their salaries will be cut, they will need to pay for error, plus weak communication skills was a disaster. Even after agreeing it was their mistake they threatened us to be thrown out of hotel (at 11 pm after our tour) if not paid was too much to take in. 
We got a decent room with an excellent view, but sink was getting clogged, tap in shower area were not working forcing to take shower in bath tub. Jet spray wasn’t working. Rooms were not cleaned till asked to be done.
Breakfast options were very limited esp for Vegetarians, too much meat in early morning. 
Overall would never advise to stay at this hotel when you have other better options.

The hotel needs to really improve on their service quality and breakfast options.

Generally it’s clean . I brought my own soap , shampoo creams . They have soap dispensers and shampoo , and conditioner. What’s in it ? As I said you get what you pay for . The breakfast isn’t worth it . There are lots of cafes in the area , google .There is a shisha cafe around the corner with great food , and an outlet store for high end brands . The employees are very nice and helpful .

This hotel staff are not trained. They dont have motivation to provide service to guest.
Everything that can go wrong is wrong.
Just ordered Ramen soup and found rubber piece inside.
Pls train staff.

Room service has cleaned without providing drinking bottles. Then another day they had just dropped drinking bottles without cleaning the room.
Restaurent staff has to be trained to take orders.
There is no room service until 8 p.m.
No even menu in room to order food.



Terrible service

Well well. First I would like to tell you that shear park and shera park boutique are sister hotels.All managers based in shera Park Inn. I booked shera park boutique hotel. Pictures of spa in shera park boutique not true.If you stay at Shera park boutique and wanna use fitness or pool you have to walk approximately 2km to main hotel.
My check in experience on 11th of December I booked hotel via booking.com, my check in day supposed to be 15th to 16th. On 15th at 4 pm I arrived to hotel with my family. No body welcome us FO staff in panic runnung around desk. I asked for check in they said sorry we didn't have available rooms!  Unfortunately sales Ms.Oxana from shera inn did overbooking and no room available for us. 
I asked why you didn't inform use in advance or drcline our booking??? He said we thought that rooms will available but at the end we face to over booking but if you wish we can offer you special discount at main hotel.
Do you think it is professional actions from 4 star hotel? Of course no. Usually I do this kind of comments as I am also working at biggest hotel chain but this situation unacceptable.
Usually if hotel over booked they offer free upgrade, they not offer room which 2 times expensive.
I went my self to main hotel in -18 degree cold weather to meet Oxana. Usually if hotel did mistake they must send a car or come there her self. Such a terrible management you guys must have training. Starting from managers level. How to relocate guests, how to resolve guest complaints.



Terrible management 

We stayed here for 2 nights. It's a nice property in the city center, nice breakfast and an all weather swimming pool. Had a nice time here. They allowed us to make an early check-in, the rooms were spacious

Hotel Shera inn stay

stayed for one night .room was large and clean with all amenities.buffet was good lots of food variety there. There is only one problem that  staff was not fluent in English.They gave me adopter for mobile charging on deposit of $20.its not look for custom's hospitality any way they return it back my $20 after gave back adopter.But due to English problem i need to argue around 15 min to take my $ back.

A excellent Hotel

Stayed for one night at the Shera Inn Hotel courtesy of an Air Astana $1 stopover. No complaints - large and comfortable room, wifi worked, bathroom well stocked and breakfast buffet was good. The staff spoke good English. The hotel was a short walk away from a fantastic Turkish restaurant (Bereket). The hotel did have bars but they looked pretty soulless.

Comfortable international standard hotel

Stayed here for one night after a trail race (3 days in a yurt with no showers) so I was predisposed to loving anywhere with hot running water.  But even so, this place is very nice - a good lobby with a bar, large rooms, nice bathrooms.  Everything you'd expect from a mid-priced hotel in Almaty.

Good quality hotel

Recently returned to Almaty and I was booked into this hotel as the one I had requested was full. Stayed two nights on two different occasions.
The hotel itself looks modern and upmarket however it wasn't. 
Bed was comfortable enough but only one soft non supportive pillow per person supplied. Checked the room but no others available. Bed linen looked clean enough until I pulled the quilt up and spotted a small blood stain on top of the quilt so turned it around the other way. Not good for a hotel of this standard. No tea or coffee facilities in the room however they are apparently available on request
Breakfast the next day was a buffet however even at 8.00 am some of the food was already cold.    
While i was at work my wife called and tried to order some room service for lunch where she was informed no restaurant no English so that was that. Good thing Dostyk plaza was close so she took a cab down there. 
Location of the hotel is good and the staff were good though not all speak English which is not their issue after all we are visiting there country.      
All in all I would not stay at the hotel again there are better value hotels available in similar locations for the same price or less.
