Serengeti Tortilis Camp

Had a wonderful time staying at the Serengeti Tortilis camp. The staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating. We felt very safe and taken care of during our entire stay and really felt at home. The facilities were clean, insect free, and it was so cool to be able to hear the animals at night. 

We hope to come back some day and definitely recommend anyone coming to the Seregenti to stay at this camp!

An excellent place to stay In SERENGETI. Well situated, away from other camps, close to wild animals. The camp team is perfect. We’ll be back with family.
We have enjoy the food as well and the kindness of everyone.
I recommend staying at least two nights.

It's in the middle of Serengeti National Park. I could relaxed a lot in nature. The facilities in the tents are excellent, so I could stay comfortably!!!
At the first dinner, I enjoyed singing and dancing some Tanzanian traditional songs with the staffs and other guests.

We had a lovely time staying 3 nights at the camp. The people there were very warm and helpful the entire stay. The location is quite remote so you are able to appreciate the nature. 

To our pleasant surprise…. Beds were super comfortable and showers nice and hot which was nice after a day of safari. 

The chef was very accommodating to our dietary request which was much appreciated.  The servers were welcoming and attentive. The manager of the camp was always thoughtful to inquire about our stay and outings. So did our escorts around camp. Can’t say enough about the team being very friendly and enjoying life.

Everything was perfect and the camp team was amazing, it was a great and paisible expérience in the middle of the wildlife. It is nice to sleep inside the Serengeti Park so we can directly start the safari, we had the chance to see all animals we were coming for.

Like staying in a five star hotel with five star food and service. Most enjoyable experience in South Africa so far!!! Asante!

Perfekt stay🤩👍 the place was so Nice- the people was so sweet and Will make your stay the best. the dinner, breakfast and lunch was really good. The luksus tent was so Big and more than Nice, so lovely and we delt like Home. Animals sounds at Night amd we så a hippo eating gras next to our tent at Night time, crazy lovely place- thanks so much- we was having the best time here because off the staff🥰🥰 family off 4 from Denmark 🥰🇩🇰

We had an incredible experience at Tortilis! The serengeti was full of all different kinds of animals and our driver would stop the car to let us take pictures. The camp was absolutely serene. The food was very well prepared and accommodated to our vegetarian family. All of the staff were lovely and provided us the best entertainment with singing and dancing as well as provided 24/7 security to make us feel safe with the zebras/lions outside our tent during the night. I would definitely recommend this place for groups of friends and family!

The amazing Staff at this camp served us very well. We enjoyed great food, a comfortable tent with a great shower and interesting explanations from the Maasai staff. A brilliant camp to visit. The setting is peaceful with the Impala walking near .

This place was probably the best place in Africa! The Luxury tent was better than most hotels and the staff here are very inviting and friendly! There is a peace you will find here that is unmatched, a real Oasis in the Serengeti, you will not regret your stay here.

Wonderful time at the Tortilis camp!

Serengeti camp stay

Tortilis Camp was the best overnight experience, our Dream came true at the parks 🤩👍💪

Incredible experience!

This was the second camp we stayed at during our safari. Prosper runs a fine camp - he has a bunch of young, sharp guys eager to help their guests. We found that our adapters wouldn't work in the tent so Kevin got us some. But then my husband found out he wouldn't be able to charge the camera. Kevin simply changed the electrical outlets for US based ones so our chargers would work directly. 
Our tent was great - double zippers on the flaps. An extra bed behind the bedroom which was nice. Now these tents aren't set on wood platforms, they are on the ground on tarp covered with rugs. So the ground is uneven but one gets used to that quickly. The bathroom area is set on a wooden platform. Bucket showers take only 2 mins to set up and it's a good hot shower. 
Food was buffet style except for the soup which is served to you. Liked the variety offered. Breakfast is buffet as well and you can ask for eggs. The cooking area is behind the main tent. 
Sat outside one evening watching bush tv with a drink in hand. Enjoyed our stay here!

Great camp in Central Serengeti

Loved the Serengeti Tortilis Camp! The tents are spacious, clean, and well maintained. We loved that we could hear the animals outside while still feeling safe. The staff were amazing! April was a great time to visit because the weather was not too hot (yes we had a little rain but it wasn’t enough to impact any part of our trip). Def would recommend staying here if you can!
