Friendly staff makes you feel welcome. Cold drinks available at hotel office located on the beach. You will be more comfortable if you upgrade from a single to a double room.
You will be located in downtown San Pedro. The beach at the rear of hotel and the city street in front.  Ruby's cafe located in the building....popular spot for locals to pick up breakfast to go...Plenty of restaurants, shops and convenience stores nearby.

Me and 8 other people stayed here for 5 glorious days.The atmosphere of the islanders and the shops are fantastic. Ruby’s is right on the beach nestled among tall coconut trees and within walking distance from the airport and downtown shopping.

Sweet old basic sleeping accommodation's, no frills $60.00 US per night. leaves more money for deep sea fishing! Stayed with my cousin Linda last March 2018 had the front left hand side room with a little porch for people watching!` Your just in your room for sleeping why blow tons perfect location< walking distance to shops grocery stores, bought ice for keeping drinks in our ice chest in the room.

Great value!  You can't beat the price.  If you're looking for a 5 star resort, you may need to look elsewhere.  But if you're looking for a hotel that's right on the beach, close enough to town to walk, but not so close that the noise keeps you up at night with a bed (or two), hot water, WiFi, fans, and private bathroom,  then Ruby's is the place for you!  When we visit San Pedro we spend so much time exploring and being active outdoors that we're hardly ever in our room except to shower and sleep.  We don't like to spend money on a super fancy resort when all we need are the basics. Ruby's is perfect for us.  We can't wait to stay there again next time!

We booked in for 3 days at Ruby’s Hotel on a friends recommendation. I paid the 3 nights in advance. First night I got all bitten up by bedbugs and asked for a different room while they cleaned the first one.

They put my wife and I in another room with a/c that we didn’t need as it’s not that hot just now.

I thought due to my many bedbug bites there may have been a partial refund or at the least an apology from the staff. Instead they insisted that I had to pay more money for my 2 remaining nights stay as they “upgraded” me to a nicer room. I tried to reason with them but was told I must pay the increased room rate at checkout which I just did very reluctantly.

I won’t be back .
