Ruby Lissi Hotel Vienna by IHG 

From the outside you couldn't really tell there was a hotel there.  There were two entrances/exits both shared with either a gym or postal lockers but as you go through the doors it opens up into the most beautiful hotel. There is a self service check in to try & make things quicker but there is also staff on had to assist if needed.  Our room was clean and spacious for an inner city hotel.  The room had a few modern touches such as electric dimmer switches for the lights and electric blackout, blinds & deluxe windows.  The shower in the room with a glass window was different and although there was a curtain on the exterior for discretion I would have preferred it to be darker/thicker to prevent the light coming through on night-time bathroom visits and waking me up. The breakfast was nice with enough choice to set you up for the day. The hotel is in a perfect location for explorers with the metro station just around the corner & most of the sights within walking distance. We will probably not visit Vienna again but we will certainly use the Ruby hotels when travelling.
