Rosies Bed and Breakfast

We were on a whirlwind  trip to view the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies and picked Rosie's as the place of choice. What a thoroughly delightful experience even though we were so rushed. Peter was very helpful and Rosie an absolute darling. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was to die for. The main parlour was an eclectic, marvelous mix of books, ornaments, stuffed chickens and just about a bit of everything else. If we are ever back in the area we hope to be able to stay there again. Booked for one night whilst in Falkirk on business, in June 2019. It was a 10 minute walk from the station, with a bag. Had a very warm welcome on arrival, and an incredibly spacious double room with own separate sitting area and good WiFi signal strength. The bed was comfortable and as the venue is in a quiet location I got a good night’s rest; which prepared me for the most enjoyable breakfast the next morning – all freshly prepared by Rosie. Would recommend, and would stay again if was in the area.

Dave and  I  really enjoyed our stay with Rosie, Peter and the dogs.   Comfortable, cosy and our private entrance .   Also had a little sitting room  Instead of sitting on bed to watch tv. Tea,coffee and a microwave was provided. Rosie went all out to make us feel at home. She also let us leave our luggage while we went elsewhere on tour.

This is a lovely, welcoming B&B - Rosie & Peter are such caring wonderful hosts (we also got a very warm welcome from their 3 four legged red-haired girls!) The room was so comfortable and the breakfast was full of great choices and delicious. A short walk to the train station and easy ride into Edinburgh. Close to the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies - the reason for our visit to Falkirk. T anhey gave us great advice as to another place of interest - Callander House which was fantastic. We truly appreciated all they did for us.

Rosie and Peter went out of their way to make us feel at home. A wonderful conversation in the evening and again in the morning was icing on the cake. Our room was actually a suite of rooms with a sitting room and a large en suite! It was blissfully quiet and close to cafes and shops. The breakfast was excellently prepared. I am so glad we stayed here and cannot recommend Rosie's highly enough!

The room was nicely comfortable with lots of extra space given the special sitting area that came with a little fridge. Her house is at the end of a quiet street, so we heard no noise at all from the surroundings or the other guest. Our bathroom was large and we had our own entrance to our room/bathroom area. Rosie is a delightful host – so pleasant and helpful. She gave us some good tips on things to see when we had extra time in our agenda. Her breakfast was delicious with a big serving of smoked salmon – the most generous we had on our entire trip. We sat in her dining room which felt like eating in a crowded gift store with all the intriguing tidbits she had displayed. Her place was easy to find, easy parking, short maybe 8-minute leisurely walk to the town with restaurants and we enjoyed our time there.

The lady was very unfriendly on the phone.
They did not have any rooms left and just quitted the phone. 
We would never recommend a B&B like this!
Its a pity because it looked very lovely though………………..
